Sharron Angle’s Tax Day treat to you: a song. The failed Senate candidate gave an impromptu performance of "God Bless the USA" at a tea party rally in Vegas on Friday. She sings it loud, and sings it proud.

Sharron Angle and President Obama
Charlotte will play host to the 2012 Democratic National Convention. The DNC made the announcement today. President Obama narrowly won that state in the election. It will be the first-ever presidential-nominating convention in North Carolina, a strategic move to snag more Southern voters.
And in unconventional convention news, Nevada's former Tea Party candidate for the Senate, Sharron Angle, could be headed in a new career direction. While she constantly ran from the press during the campaign, she was willing to set up to a microphone for "A Night of Glamour." Angle was recently a "special guest" at this convention for Senegence cosmetics, as first reported by POLITICO. She shared “beauty and make-up challenges” on the campaign trail and “how she overcame them.”
In politics, losers are quickly forgotten, except the class of 2010. Here's one last look at the losers we'll never forget.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has some heavyweights in his corner this election. Politico noted some of the biggest stars in mixed martial arts cage-fighting have come out in support of the Nevada Senator. Randy Couture, Frank Mir, Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell all have Reid’s back. Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to appear alongside Reid on the campaign trail tomorrow in Las Vegas.
Perhaps, it's their fighting roots that bring them all together. Reid used to box as middleweight back in the day. He needs to show that spirit a bit more if he intends to win — right now, he’s trailing Tea Party candidate Sharron Angle in the polls.
We're constantly talking about tea party candidates on this show. Names like Sharron Angle, Joe Miller, Christine (no relation) O'Donnell, Carl Paladino, Rand Paul get tossed around a lot. But, it's been tricky to tell who's calling the shots behind the scenes with so many branches of the movement.
Max Pappas of Freedom Works, Amy Kremer of The Tea Party Express, Karl Denninger of Fed Up USA and Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation will join us at 10pm ET. They'll give us the Tea Party 101.
Before its current political incarnation we know today, a different tea party existed in 2006. Martha's Vineyard, holla back!
Media-shy Sharron Angle promised to finally talk to the press, but only after being elected. In a rare interview granted a conservative radio host, the tea party-backed Senate candidate from Nevada said she regularly dodges reporters because they don't "promote" her enough.
On the Heidi Harris Show, Angle gave the excuse, "The lamestream media or the left-leaning progressive press are really very much in Harry Reid's camp. They promote him as much as they can, and certainly that's not their intent when they come to interview me." She's currently in a tight race against Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
But, Angle wants to mend relations with the annoyed press corps after being elected. "I'm hoping that as we get into this once I get elected Senator that they will be much more civil and we will have a very civil discourse," she said.
Is avoiding the press helping or hurting her chances of being elected? Drop us your thoughts in the comment section below.
Babs almost walked off the set this time after The View's Joy Behar went on a tirade over Sharon Angle’s creepy new campaign ad. Behar called the Tea Party candidate, a moron, a bitch and said she was going to hell. Then, Behar invited Angle to try doing same ad in the South Bronx to see what happens. Rawwrrrrr…
Current polls show Sharron Angle pulling a slight lead over Harry Reid in the Nevada Senate race. But Angle might not winning over Latino youth after a speech last week. Video has now surfaced of the Republican Nevada Senate candidate telling a bunch of Hispanic teens that they "look a little more Asian."
The Hispanic Student Union at Rancho High School near Las Vegas invited Angle to speak. According to the Nevada Sun's John Ralston, she said:
"So that's what we want is a secure and sovereign nation and, you know, I don't know that all of you are Latino. Some of you look a little more Asian to me. I don't know that. What we know, what we know about ourselves is that we are a melting pot in this country. My grandchildren are evidence of that. I'm evidence of that. I've been called the first Asian legislator in our Nevada State Assembly."
Not sure where's getting that one. Maybe she was Asian in a past life? She does have a daughter-in-law who is Latina.
Thoughts?
Harry Reid's camp is taking the humor route to win over Nevada voters. In another hilarious ad, Reid's camp produced a fake infomerical for Sharron Angle's "crazy juice." The made-up canned beverage supposedly contains "non-chlorinated water, so you know it's safe from socialism" and boasts real "DeMint."
