Passengers on American Airlines flights might be the ultimate losers in the PR war between the airline and former passenger, Alec Baldwin. AA confirmed today it's considering axing 30 Rock as an entertainment option on its flights after the continued fallout with the show's star.
They didn't seem to find Baldwin's cameo appearance on SNL this past weekend very funny.
"I was disappointed it was making light of something very serious and poking fun at a group of employees that are very proud and a historic airline that are going through a tough time right now," said American Airlines pilot Steve Roach.
Baldwin pretended to be a pilot, mocking the idea that the airline should be apologizing to him after the brouhaha now known as planegate. He wore a Sully Sullenberger 'stache to complete the look.
The actor got booted from a flight last week for playing Word with Friends and reportedly giving flight attendants major lip.
For what it's worth, Lawrence sat next to him on a flight a few days before the incident and called him "polite to a fault."
