In today's edition of "Repealing the 20th Century," Texas Governor Rick Perry does "not buy into" the whole climate change thing. While on the campaign trail today in New Hampshire, an area known for its environmentally-friendly policies, he rejected the concept, saying "the issue of global warming has been politicized."

"I think there are a substantial number of scientists who have manipulated data so that they will have dollars rolling into their projects,” the Republican presidential hopeful told the crowd of local business leaders. "I think we’re seeing it almost weekly or even daily, scientists who are coming forward and questioning the original idea that man-made global warming is what is causing the climate to change." Perry added, the climate's been "changing ever since the earth was formed."

As a long-time skeptic of the overwhelming scientific data, Perry referred to the phenomenon as "all one contrived phony mess that is falling apart under its own weight" in his book, Fed Up!

Fellow GOP candidate Willard M. Romney broke away from this conservative-leaning doctrine, siding with science. In June, Romney  told another crowd in New Hampshire, "I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that."
