Because we love when celebrities and the political world cross over, here are a few PopPolitics headlines:
In a completely made up, totally improbable match up, Public Policy Polling polled who would win in a 2012 President Obama/Sarah Palin/Charlie Sheen run-off. Not surprisingly, 84% of Republicans would support Palin and the same percentage of Democrats would vote Obama.
Here's the kicker - although independents would side with Obama over Sheen by a 57-22 margin, the same cannot be said for the former Governor of Alaska. According to the poll, independents prefer the original Tiger Blood drinker himself, Charlie Sheen, to Team Palin.
We're not sure which way spells "winning" for the country in that match up, but Sarah Palin did get her own Hollywood match this week. Actress Julianne Moore will play Palin in the upcoming HBO film Game Change. While most women would be flattered to have the beautiful and talented Moore play them in a film, Palin expressed quite the opposite opinion.
Here is what Mama Grizzly told Sean Hannity on Fox News last week:
"Well, I am all about job creation and I guess I could provide some of these gals who pretend like they're me some job security. I would ask though that - if they're of the mind of spreading the wealth around - that perhaps they want to spring for one of my kid's braces or something as they capitalize on pretending to be me."
Finally in our PopPolitics round up, Sandra Bullock donated $1 million dollars to the Red Cross to help Japan. In January of last year, Bullock donated $1 million dollars to Doctors Without Borders for earthquake relief in Haiti. The Red Cross released a statement on Bollock's generous donation.
