What needs to go viral is the only conclusion you can reach:
Romney tells us everyday that his credibility as president will be the same that it is as a #professional candidate. That is very frightening and is another nail in the coffin for democracy, when the people with open eyes vote for a liar because they hate the other guy.
We thought Romney was from Wall Street, but he was manufactured by #Madison Avenue, and now he is taking his marketing talents as a professional candidate to become our president. Beyond #Manchurian!
Romney never worked on Wall Street...he worked in offices adjacent to the well established New England finance center of Boston Massachusetts, analyzethedata!
You may think it helps to label Romney a liar, but the evidence is very clear that the lies told have been those which tried to paint him as a vulture capitalist and a failed Governor all Spring and Summer by the Obama Campaign and echoed by the liberal media, absurd charges that have been refuted by some of the leading Democrats (such as ex-Pres Bill Clinton, ex Gov Ed Randell of Pennsylvania, Gov Patrick Duvall of Massachusetts, and Mayor Cory Booker of Newark, NJ). And now the same group of that blithly sold you that rotten bill of goods is doubling down by lying about what his plans and positions have been coming into this election, and and lying about Romney's being the liar now when he sticks to those positions.
So use the brain that God gave you, and stop parroting this partisan fools from the beleaguered left wing, that have nothing they can stand on in a record to run on, and nothing to promise for the future...simply more of the old same-o, same-o that has left our economy in the doldrums, our nation's fiscal situation teetering on a cliff edge, and our international and defense posture under severe pressure as the current administration plots its course of withdrawing further economically, diplomatically, and militarily from the world.
The Republicans introduce Sharia law into state laws. Who wants to control women's bodies and choice? Voter fraud? Who gets caught doing it (not even speaking about 2000? Welfare? Subsidies to oil companies. Corporations are people? I know government is people! Romney has artfully used his words to give artificial impressions of changing his nature in the last week. don't fall for it because he will be president of 100% of the people while watching over those of his interests.

Perhaps, before you go on the air and quote the taliban "spokesperson's" version of what is in the Qur'an, you should find out if their claims are true. First of all, there is no incident reported in the life of the Prophet Muhammad where he praises the killing of anyone. Secondly, the Qur'an made education an obligation - upon both genders. Women are regarded as the first educators of children, so their education is given great importance. Lastly, the story of Khidr and Musa(in surat al Kahf) is one in which Khidr is not a mere mortal, but a "Servant of God" given the Divine charge of meting out apparent catastrophes on humans in order to test the Prophet Musa's oath not to question his actions. The point of the story is that there is a Divine wisdom behind the events that unfold in our midst - even the things that appear unfair at first look are serving the good. The story does not grant license to ordinary humans to take it upon themselves to mete out "Divine" justice, but illstrates that acts of GOD (not of men) which seem to be tragic or unfair or evil, are actually a Mercy. This is not one of those "crazy" passages - the story addresses the age-old question of why God allows bad things to happen to good people. Finally, like most extremists, if they had any understanding whatsoever of what their holy book actually says, they would disband and beg God for forgiveness.
Good words, Sufichick...but as you are aware there are those that profess to follow the path of Islam that have the need to use their twisted interpretations of the fundamental laws and teachings of Islam for political purposes, and those are as much at war with moderate and charitable and loving Muslims as they are with the Western World.
Once again I find myself cringing when I watch Lawrence struggle to read the teleprompter as if he's reading it for the first time ever. It's obvious he's just phoning it in lately, he apparently doesb't even write his own commentary anymore.
This was way too important a story to stumble all over it this way. Bring back Olberman, MSNBC! Lawrence used to be compelling but now his show is just sad.

As a Republican supporter of Obama (I know, I know), I often watch your show but just as often disagree with your strident, sometimes over-the-top depiction of events. However, I found myself agreeing 100% of everything you said This young girl is such an inspiration and is in my prayers. May God raise her to confound her attackers and show the world that He is stronger than those that hate. And may the religious zealots on all sides truly follow God and cease the hateful fear that drives such atrocities. Bless you, Lawrence!
We should not be too ready to pat ourselves on the back, and say we are superior, just yet. Violence and stupidity know no one religion or nationality. Supposed Christians have been, and sometimes still are, just as violent. Some of the Oklahoma City plotters are alleged to have had connections to the "Christian Identity" movement, as does the Aryan Nation.--not exactly a bastion of civil society and tolerance for the beliefs of others. Yesterday it was reported that an Arkansas legislator is advocating the death penalty for disobedient children. We have to improve ourselves before we can say that our religious beliefs are less violent or vicious than those of others. In the mean time, we can but hope that this brave young woman recovers, as an example to her own people of the power of courage.

You stated that we should ignore what is in the Quran. This is an insult to Muslims. Rather ignore what the extremist try to state is part of Islam. The one quote you provided regarding the prophet Mouhammad (peace be upon him) grateful that someone killed a woman for disrespecting him is not in the Quran. This false statement is 100% inconsistent with his life. Never did he ask someone to be killed or even rebuked for degrading him. Please check your facts. These extremists have no morality and hijak our religion and the Quran and the exempleary life of the prophet that I cringe everytime we have to hear their communidations. Please do not give them the airtime to spread their hatred. These zealots, including Muslim leaders and the Saudi's need to be reminded that the very first word in order of revelation in the Quran is "Iqra".
Iqra is an Arabic word which literally means "Read". The problem here is
that these people claim an affinity with Islam, but they forget that the
Quran is instructive - it came to all humanity, to all of humanity not just men, and not just to men in authority.

Thanks for presenting this story. It was unquestionably a savage act of terrorism. I think an effective public response would be from the public en mass to contribute to such schools. Sending the message to such zealots that acts of terrorism will on hurt their goals.
