Tune in tonight at 10pm ET for a special Friday edition of The Last Word. We'll discuss the long-awaited September jobs report, which puts the current unemployment rate at 7.8 percent — the lowest it's been since President Obama took the oath of office in 2009. It's a nice pick-me-up for Team Obama after the president's so-so debate performance.

I have listened to the reflections of the media pundits for two days now, and w/ the exception of Mr. ODonnell's "Last Word" everyone seems locked on the President's less than perfect performance. Why has no one emphasized Mitt Romney's brittle bullying of Jim Lehrer; his lack of poise as he ramrodded his obviously preplanned "umbrage" @ the President's performance over the last four years.
He showed himself to be the same unctious, know-it-all rich guy who would have had no problem firing thousands of people and exporting their jobs to China....who if you listen to him now is the neo "great satan"
Or better yet, save yourself the foolish spin job, and wait to read tomorrow's Wall Street Journal and NY Times Buiness Section that will give a more accurate accounting to this "miracle of the October Surprise" that had at its base the 60,000 households called nation wide that gave reports of 873,000 new Household members employed as an extrapolation with seasonal adjustments that admiringly went in the favor of the Obama Administration, to a level not seen in a single month since the Reagan Recovery heights of June, 1983. Totally devoid of reason numbers from those of the real economy, of course, like our nation's slumping GDP growth rate (1.3% only), precipitously dropping durable goods orders (down over 13%, to worst levels in years), and home sales (down 2.7%), and dropping exports and a three month negative reporting of manufacturing jobs in the last quarter. Excuse me, I have to go find my Vapo-Rub to block that terrible smell coming out of the OBAMA BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS.
