If Mitt Romney really wants to win his first debate against President Obama, he better go check out one particular episode of The West Wing. MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell offered advice to Mitt Romney on the key to winning the first debate and explained why the Republican presidential candidate still won't win it.

Have O explain why the F&F files were buried by executive order. Or better yet, explain why there are so many executive orders under this faux prez. Answers Larry?
Why don't you explain why you haven't read the in-depth story of F&F (including Faux's "Internet Journalist" who was actually an Alabama militia sort who advocated breaking windows in Medicare offices...

You're out of your league here...
Obama has signed 139 Bush 280.
Obama has had to sign many just to get by the obstructionist Congress. For example to appoint dozens of officials who the Congress held up for years.
What does your "question" have to do with this segment? At least stick to the subject. Yet another low-information voter!
My "question" has to do with Romney's strategy ("advice for Romney", the title of the article) and O's transparency. Bring up F&F and the executive orders cover up, or Benghazi for that matter. Answers or distractions. which will we get?
With this economy, and 2 years of R's dragging their feet...and that's your idea of a "gotcha" question?? No wonder R's are losing ground each minute that passes...
The F&F story is already roadkill (see above), and here's the story on Benghazi...

Davey, if I can get news like this on Planet Utah, you can do as well in the People's Republic of South Dakota...
Nothing there except a good soldier falling on his sword, Cab Driver.
The Obama administraion was out from jump street to hide the truths of this explosion in the Middle East and North Africa of anti-American sentiment as much due to the 11th anniversary of 9/11 and Al Qaeda's leaders calling on Ismlamic jihandists to attack Americans and our President's failed policy of withdrawal and "leading from behind" in that region then on any furor over two month old 14 minute trailer on YouTube, at least until after the election. But they didn't figure CNN as well as Fox News would be on these failures of policy and preperadness so quickly...the White House got so used to the media just servicing as their echo chamber, you know?
Sorry but hold on a minute...are you quoting from things people said about 8-10 years ago? Seems that the right is looking at the cliffs notes history of the Bush presidency and stealing material.
You are one of those epeople who just is never going to believe Obama is a lagitamately elected President of this country in much the same way that a lot of people never believed that Bush was. But your problem is that you must now just like they had to then deal with it.
I think its worth mentioning that that "Fake President" is the one who got us into this mess and that the man you seem to think is a fake is the one who seems to be getting us out. You can wail and tear at your hair all you want but it seems that the majority of people seem to be agreeing with that.
What Fuzzy doesn't get is how he's smearing General Clapper's reputation with that manufactured insinuation there is some dishonesty going on in defense of the President and what happened in Libya.
I already gave him a lesson on the Service Academy Honor Code a few months ago, but he was so busy trying to duck the truth he didn't even get the particulars straight.
Now let's hear about the grand-and-glorious military careers of the chicken hawks in the Bush 43 Administration....
And you are aware General Powell endorsed Barack Obama in 2008, right? I'll make a modest prediction that one will repeat itself.
Hard to tell who from Massachusetts is going to look worse, their baseball team or their former governor... Must've sucked to watch that game last night, eh Fuzzy?
The right never criticizes all of the bombed embassies and hundreds killed when they were actually happening under Reagan and Bush. If anyone even dared to criticize they started to contort their bodies and scream "How dare you criticize the President of the United States! You have no respect" Then even famous, well respected people like Dan Rather or the Dixie Chicks as well as dozens of others were fired and black balled.
These guys live by severe double standards and are absolute HYPOCRITES.
This Fox, CNN news reporting is pure crap as they do not criticize right wing Presidents. They help them lie to get us into wars. I seem to remember them getting fired from legitimate news sources for doing so. Those very same "journalists" are now working for "fake" news Fox.
Never knew that the network with the best reputation for covering international news, CNN, was considered a "right wing" sympathising news outlet, SedWHINER. I'll give you that with Fox News, but I watch it just as I watch MSNBC and the independant stance of CNN to get the balance needed. As to Al Qeada embassy bombings in North Africa, and the 1st bombing attempt with conventional explosives of the World Trade Center, and the ramming with an explosive filled speed boat of the USS Cole, why those all happened under the Clinton Administration, of course, and pretty much went unanswered. So exactly what embassy bombings un Reagan and Bush are you referring to in your revisionist history bullcrap, fool?
As to Dragoon's strawman argument that he prides himself with debating, I never said a single word that Obama was a "fake" president; I have said on numermous occassions he is a "FAILED" President, on the collosal scale of a Jimmy Carter, except with a worse domestic economic record for his 4 years.
And Cab Driver, You never gave me any kind of lesson, surely not one that you learned by living it. And if you want to live in the glory of your father's incomplete accomplishment attending our nation's foremost Service Academy, he never served! My father did, I did, and so did my son! We took the oath, and provided our service. So go spin your nonsense somewhere else, cause folks here aren't buying it. General/Secretary Powell, and a host of black clergy, and Oprah and ObamaGirl are amonst the most prominant former Obama supporters that have refused to endorse him this time around, fool.
Keep in mind - the simple come back.
"I knew Governor Mitt Romney. You sir, are no Mitt Romney ... you're not that one either ... nor that one ... nor that one ... nor ...
Keith I'm sorry I forgot you didn't study history and don't know how to use Goggle...
The U.S. embassy was attacked in Beirut, in 1983 under Reagan and 63 people were killed in including 17 Americans?
Of course the Marine Barracks in Beirut were also attacked that year and 241 Marines were killed and 100 were wounded which really made him inept right?
That same year the embassy in Kuwait was bombed several times killing six people which further shows how incompetent Reagan was right?
In 1984 islamic terrorists kidnapped a CIA station Chief William Buckley so Reagan really was incompetent by you standards right?
That year the Embassy Annex in Beirut was also bombed killing 24 people. Wow this Reagan guy really sucked didn't he?
Should I go on? Like two planes and a ship highjacked after all I've only gone over two years of the Reagan administration so far.
How about the twelve US Embassies (which I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you don't remember because you watch Fox and CNN), bombed under George W Bush? Of course that's not even mentioning the 9/11 attacks. Is that incompetence too? Ha Ha Ha!
These are actual facts not made up crap that Limbaugh, Fox and CNN come up with Ha Ha Ha!
Double standards is what you guys live by because you guys are HYPOCRITES!
I gave Grandpa a lesson on the Service Academy Honor Code and honesty, but it obviously didn't take... Take a look at that whopper he just tried to pass on "black clergy"; nobody here believes that one... As for General Powell, I'm guessing he'll make a statement in due time.
Fuzzy is still lying to the tune of his Koch Head masters, and Sed, I wouldn't bother making up an exam on that historical material you just brought to the table; he doesn't have any appetite for truth.
Facts flow off the backs of these right wingers like water off a duck.
Problem is you are mixing iran's support of Hamas and the military ditatorship of Saddam Hussein and the Sandinistas and Contra's in Central America with Al Qeada attacks, SedWHINNER!
When Reagan went before the American people in response to the bombing of a cafe in El Salvador's capital city that killed several Marine personnel there as advisors, he made the statement that those responsible will know our justice. Sound familiar? This is what Obama just said three weeks ago after the attacks and burning and sacking of our consulate in Benghazi, Libya that killed our Ambassador and three American colleagues. And what exactly did Regean and our military do in reponse.?
A single squad of 11 men from the 75th Ranger battalion based at Ft. Dix, Washington State boarded a C-14 in Yakima Washington for a flight to El Salvador, where they disembarked, changed into all black uniforms with no identifying added badges or names, chose their armaments from a collection of weapons, and then boarded a transport helicopter for a night flight over jungle countryside to a hidden rebel camp that intelligence had pointed to as the home of the murderous bombers, and made a quick rope drop into that camp in the dead of night and took no prisoners, killing 110 rebels, mostly in their beds. Now that is walking softly, but carrying a big stick. But with the policy of withdrawal of our military forces from the Middle East, and with the withdrawal from Western Asia underway, we will not have that capability under Obama. You need a land base to fly those missile armed drones from that Obama is so proud of using, and the ability to insert Special Forces personnel to define their targets and provide the radio guidance systems on target: but we are out of Iraq, and soon to be out of Afghanistan, and the comeback forces of Islamic jihadists which are Al Qaeda or Iran supported will soon have the field to themselves.
Might as well close all of our embassies, call back our diplomatic personnel, and advise US citizens to get out of the Middle East, North Africa, and Western Asia, especially if Obama manages to survive the next 5 weeks and two more Presidential debatea, one on foreign affairs, and get reelected. Because he surely plans to throw in the towel in the War on Terrorism, and take his "Peace in our time" (to quote Neville Chamberlain laying down before the rise of the Nazi threat in Europe in the late 30s), by making draconian cuts to our Defense budget.
Are you really going to try to justify the fact that Reagan went around Congress when they specifically told him not to work with Iran or the Sandanistas? Because he should have been impeached for that. Specifically he was buying drugs from the South Americans, shipping them into the US for sale and using that money to purchase our used weapons and then reselling them to the very regime in Iran that had just kidnapped our citizens a few years before.
Are you kidding me Keith?
I don't want to be negative, but all the debate segment did was remind me how incredibly bad the last 2 seasons of The West Wing were
Why is MSNBC falling all over itself to give good campaign advice to the Mittster. NBC is in business with Bain Capital but does MS-NBC have to offer good election advice to Romney. The usual pundit suspects at MSNBC aren't really a concern but O'Donnell is in an entirely different category. For instance, he's not a goof. He's talented. He's got game and some brilliance and he's a great writer. In other words, he could actually make a viable and beneficial contribution to Romney. So what gives? Why is O'Donnell offering his brilliance to the Romney campaign? Something is goofy. Something is amiss. Something is off kilter. In other words, the corporate effect is evidencing itself. This is perhaps one of the myriad reasons that 80% of Americans disapprove of corporate political media. The question is on the table; Why is O'Donnell going rogue? Is he shape shifting into Rachel Maddow? Scheesch! ...Gobama!
reveal5: O'Donnell isn't going rogue. He's just trying to show how smart he is. How "fair" he is at the same time as saying that Romney is dumb. "I'm so smart I can even tell Romney how to win and he is still too dumb to take my advise."
Do you think it's posssible that MSNBC gave O'Donnell an injection of some kind, so he would act all corporate in an NBC way, like David Gregory? Hmmm! :] Most of the rest of MSNBC's goofy goober pundit crew doesn't have much to offer in my opinion, but O'Donnell is a mover and a shaker. He should think of ways to really help the President because Obama is definetely smart enough to take good advice. Gobama!
just let Romney talk ......
poor gooopers, heads are exploding.

Man that really IS saying something when even YOU'RE smart enough to tell Mittens how to win. I guess he really IS Dumb.
Side note: Congratulations to Richard Wolffe. Whoo-hoo ... and don't go all corporate....dude. !
Remember how much this network and the rest of the liberal media criticized Bush for his campaign of "Stay The Course" with the War on Terror and the Iraq supporters of the military dictatorship in Iraq? Well, that is all Obama has to offer now with his duel campaign message of more wasteful inefficient stimulus spending, and less Defense spending and withdrawal from the War on Terror which has taken both his domestic economy and his foreign policy's outcomes down the proverbial toilet!
