As the situation in Libya, Egypt, and now Yemen develops, Mitt Romney expands his attack on President Obama. Here are some more stories informing the Last Word rundown tonight:
- Mitt Romney asked VP shortlisters for 10 years of tax returns
- Fed announces new mortgage bond-buying plan, keeps interest rates low
- Romney delivers broad criticism of Obama on foreign policy
- The Green Lantern theory of the fiscal cliff
- 'Nightmare' Pennsylvania voter ID law revisited in court
- John Kasich: Our spouses are 'doing the laundry' while we're on stage
- Arizona college offers in-state tuition to undocumented immigrants

I think Mitt Romney's warmongering is done to hide his "feminine side."
Romney has something unquestionably and clearly in common with the average person. Most of us just aren't Presidential, and neither is Mitt. . He's just not Presidential, and as far as his honesty goes, he's actually below average. Romney just ain't Presidential, Romney's more like a presentable Mormon pirate in sharkskin leggings.
Why is this network and the liberal media trying th make the story here Gov. Romney's statements, and not the US failings to protect their Ambassador and other slain staff when due warning had been issued by Al Qaeda on Monday, the Red Cross officials had been attacked also in Bengahzi, Libya earlier this summer, and the President isn't being pressed on those questions, or asked to make a statement of the storming and breaching of our embassies in Cairo, Yemen, and now Tunisia. Where is the President of the United States' Press Conference on these issues? Romney stood up!
Instead Obama is provided an interview where the primary question was what did he think of Gov. Romney's statement. And then he offered up his analysis that Egypt is "neither an ally nor an enemy". Seems to me that is his same take on Pakistan now too. And it's beginning to look like he believes the same about Israel, especially as Israel is demanding that Obama put up or shut up about his intentions of supporting them if they have to launch attacks against Iran to stop the progression to nuclear arms capability for that terrorist supporting rogue nation. This is a far cry from the Presidency of George Bush, when Pakistan and Egypt were very much allies, and Israel was our strongest ally in the Middle East.
There has been much criticism of Gov. Romney for stepping up and making his assessment of the situation in the Middle East at this time. The criticism seems to center around the concept in the media that when there is trouble abroad, one should defer to the President of the United States. Strange that no one thought of that when we were actively at War in Iraq against the forces of the holdover Hussein elements and Al Qaeda on the Arabian Penisula sending in suicide bombers and fighters. Instead, praise and full coverage was given to then candidate Barrack Obama's daily criticisms of the Bush Administrations procsecution of the Wars in Iraq, and in Afghanistan. It's a one way street with the liberal media. And this network is the very worst.
I did not support the flawed GWB nation building concept anymore than I support the Obama appeasement foreign policy that has unleased chaos from muslim world active and PASSIVE practitioners of radical islam. Obama expanded the Obama AFPAK WAR and Obama ordered the undeclared ,without congressional approval primarily financed by US TAXPAYERS as the USA funds 60% of NATO annual budget,"lead from behind" carpet bombing of Libya. Hillary Clinton boasted "we came we saw, he(Gaddafi) died",Ambassador Stevens and 3 other US citizens were tortured and murdered(when will we hear the true report of these assassinations?),our embassies in Egypt,Yemen,Tunisa,Iraq,Libya are under siege, yet the best the media propagandists and the entire Obama administration n do is condemn the youtube movie trailer and moan because the Obama foreign policy shambles has been correctly challenged by Romney. Obama can keep blathering on and on at each campaign stop...I do not trust or believe President Obama.Obama and Hillary Clinton failed the USA failed.I will vote to DUMP Obama.
As the snow flies
On a cold and gray Chicago mornin'
A poor little baby child is born
In the ghetto
And his mama cries
Cause if there's one thing that she don't need
It's another hungry mouth to feed
In the ghetto
People, don't you understand
The child needs a helping hand
Or he'll grow to be an angry young man some day
Take a look at you and me,
Are we too blind to see,
Do we simply turn our heads
By Elvis Presley
What creates poverty? Could it be endemic with the minorities? Do you remember the Irish, Jewish, and other ‘national’ ghettos? It seems each generation of immigrants suffers by living in low rent, and undesirable neighborhoods. Then, why do we have American born citizens (African American, and Native Americans) living in poverty since the inception of our great nation?
Conservatives complain that it is the peoples themselves who lazily prefer taking handouts rather than working out of poverty. Even wild bears prefer handouts, but how do you explain, as a generality, successful minorities? How do you explain Barack Obama?
What did Elvis Presley mean by a helping hand? Was he talking about handouts? No, we all know what he meant. Many minorities suffer their situation because they are denied a position in our American dream. With Government imposed protection, larger companies, especially anyone accepting a Government contract, minorities gain prosperous employment, and often leave the ghetto. Do the smaller companies hire likewise? Depending on who runs the business, more often than not, whites are the majority hire, and token minorities are given jobs. Small companies in the trades, e.g. plumbing, HVAC, etc. can hire anyone they so wish as long as they are the owner.
How do you hire? Do you hire from a small, closely nit community? Do you know everyone’s family? Do you share a Christmas party together? Do you hire based on the person’s qualification (a tile layer is a tile layer, right?), or innocently pass on a qualified person for a white less, but good enough candidate?
The solution to poverty in America is simple; pay people more money. If you are only hiring the white, cream of the crop in your area, and peon jobs to minorities, then at least pay more to the minority, or whomever else you are exploiting. More money is a sure cure for poverty; the trick is getting that mo’ money into hands of people living in the ghettos, or establish a path for the young man and woman to get out of the ghetto with education, training, and simple listening to the pain our fellow Americans are suffering.
As great a nation as we, we should be ashamed we have poverty in the first place. Poverty afflicts anyone. Poverty is colorblind and genderless; if you have no money, you have a more likely chance of living in poverty. Big corporations and our Government ideology feel reducing costs, and saving money is the correct course to follow. Although practicing good management, straight out of Business Management 101, makes sense, the fact is, that is how good people should not be managed like an autocratic management style company; those old days are gone. Instead, a Government should manage like a Government; certainly not like a business. People of United States are the Government’s business.
The Japanese hire once based on school grades, and guarantees a high paying job. Certain high schools in Japan cram education into young minds, and upon graduation attend a token university; thereafter large firms hire, and rarely ever fire. At least once a year, often more, bonus money is paid (Golden Week), and life is good in Japan. Did you witness the Japanese looting for food? What we call American behavior does not work in Japan. There are no ghettos in Japan.
What do the Japanese get in return for their guaranteed employment? Envision a company with the very best qualified people who never quit on you for a bigger, or better company. Is that valuable to you?
Is it possible for American companies, and us to change? Yes, of course; we have been evolving the worker/boss relationship for many years. Some years evolve slower than others; thanks to Conservatism. Some years gain thanks to unions, and smart, benevolent civil servants.
Elvis Presley, as a matter of fact, was the coolest, and sexiest American man (those moving hips of his) we have ever seen, or probably will ever see--ever. At the very height of his journey through our society, Elvis belted out a very patriotic song pleading for all Americans help each other live a wonderful life. Is that not what we all want as Americans? Why fight? Listen to Elvis; make love instead with all of humankind.
Without a doubt, Democrats rule when it comes to employment reform, and forwards civil justice in our wonderfully, dynamic American society. Vote for Republicans’ extinction; 2012! Yeah! Let us put on our blue suede shoes, and vote the Republicans into history, so we can all be glad it is over.
John Steinbeck addressed your same conclusions. He found that unlike the experience of each successive wave of immigrants to this country after the original English, French, and Dutch colonists on the eastern seaboard, and the Hispanic on the South Western regions, the Afro-American who were brought here by force and the Native Americans that were here to begin with were the only racial-ethnic groups that did not have the benefit of the great pressure of assimilation ot the mores and values of the American melting pot, Danny, which included the inculcation of industriousness.
