On Tuesday night when San Antonio's Democratic Mayor Julián Castro was speaking at the Democratic Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, a lot of people had the same thought: hey, he looks a lot like Jimmy Fallon.
Apparently the staff over at Late Night had the same thought, and this pretty hilarious bit of comedy was born.

Castro does not look like Fallon to me.
Looks are deceiving. Castro certainly didn't seem to have Fallon's happy demeanor about him, that's for sure.
Castro, as Mayor of San Antonio, is at his highest level in politics as an executive in the State of Texas. The Republican's have the State House locked up, Both Senators, and the only outlet of of the state for this rising star is on to the talk show circuits. His was a simple naked play for the Hispanic affiliations by putting him into the KeyNote Speaker's role, and he is hardly a "rising star!" His appearance on the Sunday news show this weekend was flat and uninspiring as a panal commentator and inconsequential, and was highlighted by the video highlights of not his speech at the DNC, but his charming little duughter's panning for the camera, and a joke that he might have thought the audience applause and cheers were for his arrival at the podium, but instead on what the camera was displaying on the Convention Hall's Big Screen of his daughter's doings. End of story!
