I sat down with Lawrence O'Donnell in the MSNBC Experience Lounge last night in Charlotte. It was a long day, but if you look closely you can see a midnight edition of Hardball filming in the background. (Chris Matthews never stops!) In the clip, Lawrence dished out his analysis of Michelle Obama's speech.

I see the Dems had out their etch-a-sketch today, and by an amendment process brought God back to this Democrat Party and reaffirmed their prior committment before Obama for Jeresulem to be the capital of Isreal. And that after Hillary Clinton just handed over a $1 Billion check to the Palastanians for building in Jeresumem, including a new Mosque.
Seems they re-thought the issues after Mitt romney lambasted them earlier today for not including reference to God or Jerusulem as the capital of Isreal. Of course, that might be because on his last visit to Jeresulem (which Obama had bypassed) he said the same thing. Consistenance of policy is so very important in foreign affairs, and not relying on leading by the interp[retations of polls, as Obama and the Dems thought they might get away with when they designed a platform this year that cut those two elements out.
Now, what was the reason for Michele to be reintroducing us to her husband Barrack again? Was it possibly becuase he has changed so much from the candidate of Hope and Change, and President of all the people, and moderate policies that ran for President in 2008 that she feared we wouldn't know him this time around?
Hey Lawrence, just saw your interview with AL Franken. Was he as drunk or high in person as he seemed on the tv? Did you get a contact high? Looking forward to seeing this footage again on late night tv. Well done Lawrence-
Nice of our two trolls to show up and model delusional think--er cognitive dissonance for us...
Watching the DNC doubtless had that effect on them, and Dave is real piece of work where he accuses Al Franken of being drunk and then, like every serious dipso I've known, has to repeat himself... I mean, check it out... He posts something over at Chris Matthews and comes over here and does it again...
Just a bit impressed with his own self-importance I'd say, but then that's commonplace among Republican elitists...
And for Grandpa, he's laboring under the delusion that Democrats can't have religious beliefs simply because he hasn't seen them for a time... And we know Grandpa isn't religous; he's to busy being a self-appointed mouthpiece for the Almighty to ever have a relationship with Him.
Isn't there a Biblical quote on the order of "Beware the leaven of the Pharisees"? Seems applicable here...
Kind of like the msnbc lineup- same spew on Last Word and on Hardball. Franken's a disgrace. I did enjoy the speaches last night- thanks Bill for curing my insomnia. Hey SL Cabbie, don't cling to your bible to tightly.
Honest Dave, I had to read the Bible to understand the issues the other side was having with some of my first forays into the writing field... I was whacking Creationists who spoke of "evil-lution" before "Intelligent Design" was even thought of... Occasionally in print, even, but there's an adage, "bunk sells; de-bunking doesn't." It's taken me a while to learn that one... Easier to learn to hustle tips, in fact.
Your vocabulary term for the weekend is "hoist by one's own petard." But as I said, I'm hopeful you'll develop your own style and not imitate mine. And if you're going to attempt a "paradoxical injunction," well...
Feel free to bring your squirt gun to a real Wild West gunfight...
SL- are you seriously quoting Hamlet- well done
