In a surreal video posted to his official YouTube page, ultraconservative action star Chuck Norris and his wife Gena are warning Americans that if President Obama is reelected it could mean "our country as we know it may be lost forever."
The video's stated purpose is to drive more evangelical Christians to the polls because, as the couple says, they can "no longer sit quietly or stand on the sidelines and watch our country go the way of socialism or something much worse."
Gena Norris goes on to quote Ronald Reagan's 1964 address, "A Time for Choosing" (often known simply as "The Speech"), saying:
"President Reagan went on to say that 'You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.'"
The video was originally posted a few days ago to World Net Daily's website. Norris sent this ominous tweet out linking to that post:
