President Obama is funny. We've all seen the correspondents' dinners. But was he always that way?
A witty article from the Harvard Law Revue, a parody publication put out annually by the real Law Review's graduating class, suggests his sense of humor was alive and well in 1990. In a piece entitled, "Between Barack and a Hard Place: My First Hundred Days," Obama — reportedly using the pseudonym "Baroque Yo' Mama" — joked that he was born in Oslo, Norway, to a Jewish Volvo factory worker and a backup singer for Abba. Mr. Yo' Mama goes on:
As you folks all know, I am extraordinarily mature, and at the age of fifteen I went off to California to enroll at Accidental College. After a couple of years, I decided to go to Colombia, but when offered a position as a judge in Bogota, I fled to Chicago. There I discovered I was black, and I have remained so ever since.
The piece is sharp, stealthily self-deprecating in the way Ricky Gervais would make famous a decade later, and hysterical. It overflows with pun-filled faux footnotes, and various variations on Barack, Baruch, Baroque Yo' Mama’s name. The whole thing is worth a read. (Thanks to Buzzfeed for digging this one up.)

Seems like classic pot head humor to me, probably penned while chowing down on junk food due to marijuana abuse case of the munchies, and washed down with warm beer.
But that is if you believe Obama's psuedo-autobiogaphy on his drug and alcohol abuse which also he claims now to have taken literary license with the truths of his life and roots. Funny though, this is availbable, but not the transcripts and the university and college admission and financial records which remain hiddeh and sealed from the public view.
It's funny that a published "journal" is available? If you like that, I'd like to entertain you with some video of grass growing and paint drying. I bet you'd find it hilarious!
And you think a 30-some year old college application better demonstrates how Obama will govern than a 2 year old tax return demonstrates how Romney will govern?
Grandpa can rest assured that his own college records (and mine) are also unavailable for public viewing without our consent. And like the President, neither of us had to go to court to keep them private.

You will bw astounded over the length and breadth of my univeristy studies, with three majors and some associated minors, as in Public Administation Major (Industrial Administration minor), Economic Major (History of Labor and Labor Law minor), English Language Arts and Humanities Major, (Secondary Education Certification minor).
You're living proof you can't educate stupidity. My university hours exceed yours by about 30 matriculated grad school hours, and having listened to you discuss secondary education, anyone who would let you near young minds would be enabling child neglect.

He's also either lying or deluded with that Freedom of Information Act claim; his college transcripts would be protected unless a petitioner could show the public's "need to know" exceeded his right to privacy.

College Transcripts
A number of interesting regulations exist - most states have their own freedom of information acts and FERPA applies to any public or private college that accepts any type of Federal funds. It would appear that FERPA trumps the Freedom of Information Act in most instances. According to FERPA guidelines, a court order would be required to view my college grade in Intro to Alchemy and Divination.

Someone wanted to know what that got me? A several year teaching at Secondary level career in Vocational Education, and then 28 years of Social Services Professional Work for the Federal Government in the Dept of VA and Dept of the Army, while holding leadership positions with the National Association of Government Employees and the American Federation of Government Employees, respectively; followed by 3 years after retirement from Federal Civil Service as a supervisor in a non profit associated with disabled youth and adult service with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission overseeing education and job training programs.
The Cab Driver, in a bizzare statement made just last week, said he really isn't driving a cab for a living, but that he "is a committee of three (3) PHDs (one of whom is a Psychologist)". LOL!
