"It wasn't the presidency, it wasn't the pressure from me, it wasn't even his health, because he wasn't a big smoker," explained the first lady. President Obama never puffed away in front of the kids, but he wanted to set a better example before looking "his girls in the eye" and giving them the no-smoking lecture. "They played an important role in him finally saying, 'I've gotta get this done'... he credits them with that."
"They are at the age now where you can't hide, it's clear," said the first lady, relaxing with her feet kicked up on the couch in the East Wing. The first lady said these conservations have prompted other heart-to-heart talks within the family. "We talk about drugs. We talk about sex. We talk about smoking. We talk about it all."

I love Michelle Obama SO MUCH! I've said it before, I'll say it again - I HOPE SHE RUNS FOR PREZ in 2016!! Obama/Clinton (Hilary, of course!) would be a GREAT TICKET!!
I never thought of that, t
hat would be a wonderful ticket! If Hillary wont run Debbie Wasserman Shultz she is awesome too!

Which Clinton? Chealsea? You won't see Hillary Clinton playing second fiddle to Michele Obama....here is the flaw in your argument...there is nothing in Michele Obama's past that would make her a good executive, and certainly not the chief executive of our nation.
My provisional choice is Elizabeth Warren... She's sharpening her stiletto heals on Scott Brown who's trying to do an impression of a Mitt Romney 2004 ("I'm a moderate Republican, honest") and hold on to the Massachusetts' Senate Seat...
There are others... Cuomo, for example...
Good choice...we haven't had a Cherokee Indian as Big Chief Executive, have we, Cab Driver? LOL!
Let's see if she can win political office first...she certainly is no shoe in from the recent polls in Massachusetts, and Romney will cut into Obama's coattails for the straight party voters turning our in Nov in that state.
I wonder just how much authenticity Barrack Obama has telling his daughters not to do drugs, not to drink alcohol, not to smoke tobacco? I mean that man made millions out of a pseduo autobiography detailing how he abused marijuana and cocaine and beer in his highschool and college years...and one suspects longer than that. This little vignette about his exerting his will power to stop smoking and be an upright father and role model for his children is simply a smoke screen to shield the voters eyes from that history of his drug and alcohol abusing years as a young adult niw that he is up for re-election against a bonadide tea totaller, never took an illegal drug or a took an alcoholic drink or used a tobacco product opponent like Mitt Romney...who in his late 60s looks a lot better for it physically than does Barrack Obama in his early 50s.
Nice try, O'Donnell and MSNBC.
Man, the President quit smoking, and Grandpa won't even give him credit for that one...
I'm wondering when Fuzz-for-brains is going to quit blowing smoke, myself...
Who said he quit...certainly not the Secret Serice detail that accompanies him on his little walks to the gym outside of Michele's view.
