In an effort to work the refs in the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debates, Rush Limbaugh is painting the moderators as "far left-wing liberal Democrats." MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell explained in the latest Rewrite.
Rewriting Rush's debate moderator attacks

Lawrence O'Donnell is pathetic. His antics are disgusting and without honor.
Called it like he sees it, and you didn't like it, eh? You've got to do better than silly testosterone-fueled person attacks like your hero.
Time to grow up and start thinking for yourself. History will remember Rush Humbaugh® as the patron saint of the uneducated know-nothing crowd.
"Lawrence O'Donnell is pathetic. His antics are disgusting and without honor."
LOL ... here, sport. Let me fix that for ya ...
"The Viagra-swilling, Oxycontin addicted Lush Limpballs is pathetic. His antics are disgusting and without honor."
There! All better!
I think this is a horribly invasive question but during the vice presidential debate, I would like Paul Ryan to be asked why he and his wife only have three children considering his stance on birth control. I think it is legitimate to ask him since he wants to force everyone to to believe in personhood as he does. Or just ask him if he and his wife are now or have ever practiced birth control.
Believe it or not, Kathy, some white men can keep a beat! LOL!
Kathy...have you ever heard of the rhythm method...it works. Who really give a rats furry ass how many kids Ryan and his wife have....Thats their business not yours or any bodyelse. Stick with the issues, how many kids the Ryan's have is not an issue.
Admit it guys, you two only like latex when it's women who are wearing it...
And the issue isn't whether Ryan's family life and values are anyone's business, the issue is why he is attempting to impose his values on others... On that one he does appear to be taking his marching orders from the Vatican.
Cabbie...your meter is over running. So u don't think your boy, Nobama and "open your mouth and insert foot" Biden are attempting to put their socialistic values on others. Biden is the best allie in the Romney camp. Keep on talking Joe. But then again your boy, Nobama makes comments like "you didn't build your business". He needs to make more comments similiar to that.
Romney is laughable for the following quote:
"I'm not familiar precisely with what I said, but I'll stand by what I said, whatever it was."
Sharp as a ball, that boy is.
And that's not counting all his numerous flip-flops on positions, but I seriously doubt you'd really like to go there.
Tit-for-tat...
Cab Driver: You like latex?...You have a blow up doll made totally of the stuff, but the clothing (optional) is most likely lace and satin.
Show me where Romney/Obama are trying to enforce their values on anyone! They both recognize the settled law of Rowe v. Wade, but also the settled law of the Hyde Amendment, that bars the use for federal dollars to be used for abortion, recognizing the rights of the majority of people in this nation that are Pro-Life, and anti-Gay marriage, and will not stand for their hard earned money to be taxed for the purpose of taking lifes of fetuses, or promoting (especially in the schools) gay marriage.
They do have a right to speak their minds on the issues and to their base of support. Just as Obama/Biden can speak to their LGBT base (and that is, at 3.2% of the population really a very minimal base) and the fornicating out of wedlock, and without latex, young women of low morals that they appeal to.
Romney/Obama? Better lay off the Nyquil after that one...
Show you? Okay...
http://www.democracynow.org/2012/8/13/the_paul_ryan_vision_of_america
(loud sounds of obnoxious elderly sort overturning chess board after sweeping the pieces away; simultaneous angry and incoherent shouts as well)
Ryan supports the "Personhood Amendment" that would define human life as beginning at conception... It would also outlaw in vitro fertilization since extra fertilized ovum are produced in that process...
Watch for some really awkward moments when Romney is asked questions about two of his sons who've experienced fertility problems. The eldest, Tagg, enlisted surrogate mothers to carry his latest twin sons, who were born in May...
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/05/04/2-new-grandchildren-for-romney-with-help-of-surrogate/
(whoops, cell phone's ringing: I'm sorry, Mr. President, yes, I know, you said family's were off limits. My bad)
And Adam-1 (dumb de dumb dumb), meter's off for this one. I'm enjoying watching the two of you turn green sitting in the back seat while I engage in some high altitude driving here. Please use the plastic bags provided, however.
And what exactly is wrong with having a surrogate mother carry the in vitro fertilized eggs to full term pregnancy and birth? Romney has no objection to that, as he is a Mormon....if the Catholic church has a different conception (no pun intended) of the sins of destroying life form from surplus in vitro fertilized eggs, that isn't impacting Romney.
Come on, Cab Driver, Obama came out on the side of same sex oral and anal sex, but that doesn't necessarily (notice the equivocation in "necessarily") practice it himself. Were is your self vaunted sense of logic?
There you go molesting strawmen again, Fuzz-inside-your-head...
I didn't say there was anything wrong with in vitro fertilization (although Mitt Romney's church has also made a statement against it). I just pointed out that Ryan wants fertilized eggs defined as human beings. Extending his logic--not mine--suggests that the act of discarding the unused ones amounts to "murder."
Shoot, you engaged in similar bellowing when you denounced Plan B contraception. Oops, sorry... Shouldn't make fun of your Alzheimer's... Kind of a "built-in Etch-a-Sketch," eh?
And honest, I don't self-promote in the area of logic. It more rewarding to poke fun of your lack thereof...
I guess you aren't aware that America's greatest exported renewable resource is sperm, Cab Driver...highly in demand by women in foreign contries whose husbands have low sperm counts because the the sperm comes without the cloak of privacy insisted upon by other countries, like Canada, Great Britain, and Australia. Of course the demand for American men of good intelligence and health and even physical attractiveness and successful business and professional lives's sperm domestically is exceptionally high also.
So what we can provide the world in the way of sperm, why not provide also from in surplus invitro fertilized eggs for the women who have lost one or both ovaries, or who fail to produce eggs at all might just like to have inplanted in their uteruses, both domestically and abroad?
No automatic deduction from in vitro or in uterus fertilized egg as the moment of conception to your hypothetical semblance of disposing with the flush of a toilet after the administration of abortion causing Plan B prescription drugs, Cab Driver. That is your lame brain conceptualization, and certainly not a logical progression.
Paul Ryan has never made a statement on birth control. Your assumption that he has a stance identical to the official Roman Catholic position simply because he is Catholic is rather stupid.
I wonder how Ryan's Catholic views didn't come into play running with someone who owned a company whose primary business was disposing aborted fetus.
So, you as a liberal think that an invasion of privacy would be awful, but you'll do it ANYWAY.... GREAT, GREAT LIBERAL THINKING.
Slander first and ask pertinent questions later.
St. Cabbie--the Vatican not give us Catholics marching orders. You are a bigot if you think it does. And, by the way, your post indicates YOU are trying to impose YOUR values on others. From whom do you get your marching orders?
What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Paul Ryan?......Lipstick.
(Am I the 1000th person to say this?!?)
1,000th person? Hardly. That was singularly lame, Jeannie.
That was the first time I heard it, Jeannie...
Here's one of my own...
The difference between Palin and Ryan is Palin acquired her terminal case of cabin fever from cold Alaska winters. Ryan got his from Wisconsin.
Here's a joke I heard, really funny too: "It's too late to replace Joe Biden on the Democrat Party with Hillary Clinton!" LOL!
Obama campaign reply to John McCain suggestion that Biden be replaced....
Sarah Palin
I would ask the moderators not to worry about comments from Rush. Mr. Romney is more liberal than all four moderators combined.
The question I'd like asked of Mr. Romney is:
Very good question Tony and here is another question between 1999 and 2000 who at Bain illegally signed your name to SEC forms and any other legal document(s) regarding Bain if you were "retroactively" retired at this time.
And one more thing how did you establish legal residence in MA to run for Gov if you were in Utah the entire time? Important questions I think.
Forgot to add do we smell voter fraud in MA? He needs to answer these questions.
Andrea Mitchell was a particularly poor choice as a moderator. She doesn't have the ability to stop the usual left wingnuts from running off at the mouth on her hourly day time show, and is totally at a loss when two guests will get to mixing it up to put order in the discussions. And toeing the MSNBC editorial policy she has done her share of focusing in on the foolish issues of so called gaffes and some of the other inconsequential issues of this campaign like taxes and dogs and horses.
I think they should be fitted with electric dog collars and zapped every time they speak out of turn. I so sick of watching three people screaming over each other until you can't understand any of them. That seems to be how the repubs roll. Is that in their script too? Whoever yells the loudest wins?
Lawrence, I'm a fan and all. But, please... why do you and others insist on calling Limbaugh "Rush?" A first-name moniker is an honorific (Elvis, Dale, John & Paul, etc) reserved for heroes and something he does not deserve. When it comes to referring to him, let's face it, he's a rich target. A rich, self-loathing, drug-addled target. Have fun!
Especially inappropriate as "Rush"'s drug of choice is oxycontin, which surely doesn't live up to the rush, 'ya know?
Uhhh...sorry to deflate your rant, Keith, but Andrea Mitchell isn't one of the 4 moderators. The actual ones selected are: Jim Lehrer (Oct 3), Martha Raddatz (VP debate - Oct 11), Candy Crowley (Oct 16), and Bob Schieffer (Oct 22).
A very quick, easy and exceedingly simple search from a supposedly "learned" man would have revealed that fact to almost everyone. Even Limbaugh got through all the names correctly.
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/13/female-moderators-chosen-for-debates/
NBC-MSNBC were promoting her hard for the "Foreign Policy" centric debate...guess they aren't having an "expert" there, hmmm? LOL! Somehow, I think we will see her sweetly smiling presence as she throws rocks at Romney on that topic and marshmellows at Obama, Eyes Wide Shut.
Do you nave anything other than your opinion as what you think might have happened, or are you just filling up your gas bag again.
Cite a credible source...if you have one. If you don't, well...I won't be surprised.
We have moderators, and then we have members of the media that will be chosen questioners, depending on their particular subjects of expertise, Eyes Wide Shut.
Dread the thought, MSNBC-NBC were also trying to promote Chris Mathews for the role of moderator, besides Andrea Mitchell. Seems they sere interested in staking the deck for Obama, and against Romney. But what's new in puke for newstown?
Like I thought...you can't offer any creditable source to back up your opinion raving, can you Longey?
Well, at least you're consistent in your lack of ability for citing source material...you never seem able to overcome that particular foible of yours.
Senility, perhaps?
Quote: "I'm not doing your damned work for you!", Eyes Wide Shut responding to a request for sources of an outlandish statement made on these pages a week back.
Ah yes...the sheepish bleating of a right-winger when he's backed into a corner, out of cognizant responses and everyone knows it...especially him.
Really? So, according to you, I said that? Well then, you can easily prove what you say by simply listing the post number (found in the lower left hand corner next to the date of every post), and the url link name (it normally begins with "http://..." found (usually, but depends on browser format) at the top of an online page) of that "quote" you allege that I made "on these pages a week back". That's the only way you can prove what you say. Oh-oh...this calls for citing a source reference, something that you are very loathe to do, if ever. A word of caution...you can't reference a post that someone else made and then say it was from me, for that would make you look more stupid than you're about to be.
I would certainly hope you don't try a "Romney'Ryan", and spout something only to say later that "...you'll just have to take my word for it". Among your other demonstrated traits, I have serious doubts as to the validity of your "word".
Here's probably your only chance to show you really have some cojones, little man, so it would really help your tarnished image to be able to produce that what you allude to. But we both know you won't be able to, don't we?
Boy-oh-boy... is this gonna be fun!
I repeat, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. "I'm not doing you're damned work for you."...quoted from Eyes Wide Shut!
Awww Keith...I was so-o-o-o looking forward to reading your trumped up sputtering attempts at denial! It seems that you, regardless of how many times you spout your little "sauce" saying, can't seem to provide any proof to back up what you said. But then, you and I both knew you couldn't do that when you uttered your first lie, didn't we? I've seen better heads on week old beer...more coherent ones too.
What's the matter, Keith, can't man up enough to admit your mistake? Never mind...that's a rhetorical question. So let's see...Romney lies, Ryan lies, and now you're emulating your idols. Say...what's that high-pitched bleating sound I hear from post #8.7?
It must be a ewe for it could never be a ram...
Oh...it's only Keith, and he's on the lam.
Feeling a bit light in the anatomical nether regions, are you? The lack of just a couple of essential body parts will do that for you, as you now know Keith, but sadly, those are found only on men...perhaps in your next life. Well, you can always try and whinny your posts, but I imagine even those would sound very "jenny-ish". WAIT!!! Come to think of it, "gelding" has to be the most appropriate description for you. And you don't even have to ride side-saddle, Keith...you can't hurt anything you don't have.
Again with the bad grammar...you can't even keep a lie straight from one post to another can you?
I can easily see
why you're GOP...
When asked for facts...
YOU only flee.
Statements of truths known to the majority are not lies until and unless proven to be. If you want to make a case that those statements are :lies", it is incumbant on you to prove them so. So get on with the work of researching them, and as I said, borrowing a line from you, "I'm not doing your damned work for you."
You have that slightly wrong, oh gender-less one. It's all too apparent that if you had any "proof" to back up your lie, you would have trotted it out by now for all to witness instead of doing your little Longey lap dance all around the issue. But what do I see and hear...nothing but the sound of escaping gas. A majority...of one? Ho-ha...
Oh, Keith...you're just so...so...so REPUBLICAN in your ways, aren't you? I'm beginning to wonder if you and Romney aren't somehow related, you employ so many of the same generic traits..lying, obfuscation, deflection...just too many to chose from. He though, apparently, comes from the affluent side of the family, while you...YOU unmistakably hail from the effluent side.
So then, according to your logic, if I say "Keith is a demonstrated idiot", then you have to prove me wrong. Have at it, shorty. You have your history of posts (snort-chortle-chuckle-guffaw) to attempt to rebut that statement, use them...if you dare, but you should remember that I can also peruse your posting history...and that trail will leave you hanging by your...oh, sorry, I forgot...you don't seem to have any of those.
I must be getting old...I find it so tiring trying to engage in a battle of wits with a totally unarmed opponent.
The dementia-riddled old man never cites sources - Just gives his pathetic opinion as if it's fact.
"Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."
Daniel P. Moynihan
Sadly, one cannot teach an anti-semite like this old dog new tricks. He's perfectly blissful in his ignorance.
Yes, poor old Keith is leaving a legacy that functionally literate and educated people wouldn't care to have associated with themselves.
But then, Keith will never be mistaken for having those qualities.
Question for the Debates:
"Mr. Romney (or Ryan). How is Medicare NOT 'a government takeover of health care', and why do you want to 'save it'?"
Remember during the HCR debate in 2009, the Teanuts were screaming about a "government takeover of health care" and bemoaning "socialized Medicine". Now they are campaigning on "saving" it. That's a flip-flop that demands an answer. And I'd love to hear the GOP candidates defend this largest & most successful Single-Payer health care program in U.S. history.
Remember, it was the Teapublican's shuffling around D.C. with signs that said, "Keep government out of my Medicare!"
Not the brightest bulbs in the box that lot ...
Amen MugsysRapSheet!!
The nations largest and most successful health care system is the Department of Veterans Administration Office of Medicine and Surgery, Mugsysrap. And many veterans choose their health services come from there other than from Medicare, even though they are eligible for both.
But the far greater amount of people take their health services under either employer and individual private health insurance, and out of pocket costs. Including, those aspects of costs that aren't covered by Medicare. And it is that coverage that ObamaCare is trying to take control of!
Keith just how has private insurance companies controlled cost for their insurers? Premiums are constantly rising and benefits are constantly being cut so please tell us just exactly how has health insurance remain affordable for many. Just asking.
Collusion... It’s a word not used too often.
“...secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, esp. in order to deceive others” “...connivance, complicity, collaboration, scheming... such as, “collusion between media owners and political leaders.” Apple Thesaurus
Should be... consider this –
Mitt Romney's Bain Capital (Romney negotiated a ten-year retirement agreement with Bain in 2002) bought Clear Channel in 2008 then took over its board of directors with the goal of influencing public opinion during the presidential campaigns of 2008, 2012 and beyond.
With millions of dollars donated to the Romney campaign from Clear Channel, Americans should wonder just how much control Mitt Romney and Bain have over their conservative talk radio show hosts who reach tens of millions of listeners every day.
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck’s programs are among those distributed by Premier Radio, which is owned by Clear Channel.
In a way then, you could say Mitt Romney has some control over what Rush spouts out. What better way to control the message of a talk radio station than to BUY it?
Rush Limbaugh was given a $400 million contract in 2008 when Bain Capital bought Clear Channel. He broadcasts on over 600 stations and has many, many listeners. Who do you think he listens to?
"Who do you think he listens too?" Rush?
Rush is an entertainer of the Shock Jock vibe....nothing more, never will be, doesn't want to be.
It's the Chris Mathews of the world that explore running for office (Senator from Pennsylvania, no less, a state he doesn't now and never will live in), sucking up to his boss Jeff Immeldt, CEO of General Electric (NBC-MSNBC-CNBC), who heads up Barrack Obama's Economic and Jobs Council. BTW, GE has paid no taxes during Obama's administration, and are one of largest contributors to his election campaigns, snd the Democratic National Committee and the Obama PACs.
Listening to Rush seems to be a common affliction among a multitude of GOP politicians. Just look at how many of them are afraid of running afoul of Limbaugh and/or got on their knees and crawled to kiss his ring for forgiveness after he castigated them on his show for saying something he didn't agree with.
We can start with Michael Steele and work on down from there.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0309/19517.html
Not thinking about what they're saying seems to be yet another common affliction within the GOP hierarchy.
Anyone surprised at that?
Mayor Cory Booker, ex-Gov Ed Randel, ex-President Bill Clinton, Gov Patrick Duvall, Ex Auto Czar Ed Rattner, Democrats all that were taken hostage by the Obama campaign and asked to walk back their comments about the mistake of attacking Bain Capital and the success that private equity investment firm under Romney is widely known for. Who was doing the arm twisting there, none other than Barry himself and Alexrod, that gansta' politico from Chicago, Eye's Wide Shut!
The difference, you without cojones, is that the R's have elevated their subservience to Limbaugh to a religion. They are so afraid of uttering anything that might offend the rotund one that if he burps at them, they can't hit the floor with their knees fast enough.
Your voice is squeaking again, Keith. Being a mouse will do that to you.
If right-wing friendly softball tosser white male Bob Schiffer is a left-wing liberal democrat, then you know the goalposts have been moved out of the stadium. Limbaugh must still be on the oxycontin to not notice all the advertisers realizing that the time for honoring his ugly hateful self will soon be at an end.
see www.radio-info.com/news/when-it-comes-to-advertisers-avoiding-controversial-shows-its-not-just-rush
It's not the white American's fault that there isn't a black male or female journalist with the gravitas and intelligence to serve in the role of moderator. Who would you propose from that interest group to replace CBS's repreentative, Bob Schiffer? That clown fired from CNN for his racist tweets and commentary comments?
Once again, we have Keith (aka "Liar Longey") speaking about things he knows nothing about...aren't you, shorty? Gwen Ifill from PBS, who did the '08 VP debates (the ones that proved without a doubt Palin wasn't ready for the national stage) would be a good choice...even some R's have said so.
Some reports say that she is "livid" at being passed over, but her own tweets on the matter suggest she feels differently.
And why would she have to replace anybody who was previously selected? I know this is going back farther in time than your advanced senility allows, but there really were multiple moderators during what passed for comedy at the GOP primary "debates".
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/08/05/gwen-ifill-debates-can-be-murder.html
See that line above, shorty...it's called a "link" and they're used to support an argument...as in a citable source. I know that you never use them, favoring only to use your opinions, but all you have to do is mouse over it until your pointer changes and then (wait for it!!!) click on it...it will enlighten you as never before to the fallacy of your quoted statement.
I hope those simple instructions aren't too too much for you to assimilate. But...with you, one just never knows.
Lot of words and invectives tossed about, meaning absolutely nothing, Eyes Wide Shut; and what do you have after stroking yourself like that but just another nasty mess on your hands.
What do I have?
Just another documented post from you whereby you prove that you haven't a clue as to what you're talking about, but as you seem wont to continually demonstrate, that ain't no big surprise.
To tell the truth...with you, it's a VERY small victory...much like your stature, I imagine.
Adam 1 my devout Catholic parents have six children and I was the second one. My mother said they practiced rhythm consistently and correctly after I was born and just like clockwork had four more babies in the next six years.
Good lyrics, and its got a good beat that you can dance to, Kathy-in-Iowa!
And that reminds me of the old joke: Question: Why do some evangical fundamentllst Chrisitians never make love standing up? Answer: They're afraid God wlll see them, and think they are dancing!
How can he say Crowley is not a liberal? Has he never listened to her? (I try not to)
He shows his true colors...... BLUE
