Appearing along side Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning, Chris Rock said that he thinks the current presidential race is unfair. The star of CB4 said, "It will be interesting to see how mean they can get... It's getting really, really, really mean!"
An outspoken supporter of President Obama, the comedian continued by lamenting how dirty the race has gotten between President Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
"I wish we didn’t have to stoop to this level. I wish they made it like a real fight. I mean, we’re watching the Olympics right now, and everything is fair. So I wish both guys could only spend the exact same amount of money and let the best man win.”

Funny how no body complained in 2008, when President Obama had the most money.
I don't know of any Romney campaign adds that are dirty, low, down mean. His adds speak the failures of Obama's vision, and the failure of his policies. Obama has a record to run on, and he isn't interested in defending it, because he doesn't want this campaign to hinge on the voters knowledge and perceptions of the dismal state of our economy and our fiscal situation. He wants it to be decided on likability issues, and he is all out with $100s of millions of dollars already spent before the Party conventions on trying to attack Romney's very character and his business ethics.
We know Obama doesn't think very much of the private sector, and businessmen and women and the work that they do, he is a union and community organizer and a government hand out kind of guy. A likeable populist. But he has made such a shambles of our economy and nations fiscal standing throwing $5.6 trillion in new deficit spending at the sagging growth rate and poor employments situation, actually making things worse as that raises the specter of higher taxation coming down the road in the near future. He's stepped in his own sheet, it seems, and the stink is getting worse each day as we approach the fiscal cliff that his colleagues in the Senate are putting off dealing with until after the election.
No wonder Obama is in the personal attack, dirty low down mean attack mode And none of us is the better off for it, that's for sure.
What is your problem, Mr Longey? It has always been the Republicans who got down, dirty and vicious when it came to campaigning. Might I refresh your memory with the "swiftboating" of John Kerry? Or the sly insinuation (via a phony poll) that John McCain had fathered an illegitimate black child?
Romney's style, however, is a bit different. He simply lies like a rug. One of his latest ads accuses Pres Obama of trying to restrict early voting for the military in Ohio. The true story is that the Republicans are the ones engaged in restricting; restricting early voting to ONLY the military. Pres Obama was simply campaigning to make sure ALL Ohioans would be able to vote early, not just the military. Did this detail matter to Romney? Of course not! His lying pretend-indignant self is too busy shouting about what an OUTRAGE this is!!
Let's face it, Mr Longley. You and the Republicans aren't accustomed to being under attack. You lie with impunity and then sit back with a smirk as the lies are repeated, with the same phony indignation, on FOX news and by the Republican's most famous bloviator, Rush Limbaugh.
The only one stepping in his own sheet these days is your very own Ken doll, Mr. Romney.
Diane, you have your head in the sand, Go ask the military what is going on with their absentee ballots and their early voting rights. You don't know what you are talking about. I would love to see your sources to back your claim. The Republicans would be stupid to suppress a group that is predominately right leaning.
Yesterday I saw an add where a man stated " Mitt Romney doesn't know or care what he is doing to people" and then told this story of how he lost his job because Mitt shut down the plant he worked in. He then said because of this action he and his wife lost their health insurance, and she didn't get the care she needed and died.
When you see all of the facts you will find that he is using a few truths to miss lead you. Two years after Mitt left the company this man was offered a severance package, his wife was never on his insurance( she had her own plan), she lost her job 2 years after he did,and she died 5 years after this guy lost his job.
I have seen the add 5 times and only a stupid person couldn't see that this superpak is saying that Mitt is responsible for the lady's death. This is a lie and has nothing to do in any way with politics, it is a smear campaign.
President Obama's campaign manager stated that she had no prior knowledge of this story and didn't want to comment on this add. Yesterday I also heard the audio of a phone conversation hosted by this same campaign manager where this man told her the same story, almost word for word. She lied about knowing this information and possibly violated the law, because she is prohibited by law to coordinate with the superpaks.
I saw an add this morning that President Obama endorsed. It clains that Mitt possibly didn't pay any taxes for 10 years. I thought in America you were innocent until proven guilty. President Obama needs to back his claim with fact or need to be brought up on charges of slander.
Imeach Obama's lying law breaking low down, dirty ass! He is running rough shod by illegal edicts violating the laws passed by Congress, refused to direct Harry Reid (his Party's Senate Majority Leader who he meets with individually regularly) to stop blocking the passage of a budget in three years. And Obama is spending us into anotherbreaching of the National Debt Limit voted on just last year 9 months ago! Never mind voting him out of office, Impeach his JIVE TALKING ass now, before he can do us any more harm.
Barack Obama just TALK,TALK.TALK,TALK,TALK,TALK,TALK,TALK,TALK,TALK,TALK, but doesn't do the WALK. Same old dog and pony show.
