Now that Mitt Romney's new BFF is Texas Tea Party Senate candidate Ted Cruz, Romney's campaign has released a new ad targeting Texas and its large concentration of Latino voters. The ad, called "These Hands: Texas," is again using the Romney campaign's selective understanding of what has been dubbed by the right as President Obama's "you didn't build that" moment.

The electric grid? Why, I believe that was built, is being continuously expanded, and maintained by investors money in Utility Corporation Stocks and Bonds for the most part, GA Girl: and its a capatilist risky business, not a Government project built with tax dollars that built that grid, with the exception of some of that antiquated TVA project to electrify the hinterlands of the Appalacians during the Depression Years.
So you agree that HE did not pay for that right? SO in essence those who did whom ever the hell they were actually helped his business to thrive by have an electric grid for him to simply plug into. What you seem to miss in this discussion is NO ONE can claim that they alone develop, maintained and sustained any business completely alone. Hoover Dam, Glenn Canyon Dam, and Flaming Gorge Dam were all built in my part of the country by the Bureau of Reclamation... And they all provide significant amounts of electric power...

The dam's aren't the electric grid, Cab Driver. The electric grid is owned and operated by the folks that built it, the utility companies.
Now if you want to talk about the source of the power transmitted on the electric grid, that is a different matter. For most of our needs for the power we have relied on coal fired and natural gas and il generators as the nations wildlife preservation and naturists have been so busy through the years stopping and removing from existance hyhdro electric projects. And one of the most successful of the hydro projects is, of course, the Bonneville dams on the Columbia River serving Washington State and Oregon, and commericial funded and operated and maintained.

Are you aware the Pacific Electric and Gas now has to pay a premium to for electricity produced by the Wind Farms built and maintained with Federal subsidies, and also pay the wind farmers to not produce high priced electricity when the Bonneville Dams projects are alredy producing surplus electricity that they can't store and send out on their grids to the major metropolitan areas and small towns and villages of Washington State and Oregon State West of the Cascades?
Are you aware that the US Army Corps of Engineers contribution to the Bonneville project was and is to produce and maintain navigable waters of the Columbia river, mostly for the rich lumber trade and for the transport of goods and foodstuffs and people? And flood control, of course! And that the dams are under private operationand maintenace, including the generators that produce the electricity that is a welcome byproduct of their original intention?

Bain Capital took companies someone built and raped them till they died, or sent them to China. Romney saved the Olympics in Utah with $1.3 billion provided by the government.

Bain Capital invested in failing US companies in declining industries facing huge global competition pressures (like Steel and Paper, for example), and had an 85% rate of success turning those companies into stable, profitable enterprises. That's why folks like ex Pres Bill Clinton ("Romney had a sterling reputation at Bain Capital") and ex Gov Ed Rendell of PA and Gov Patrick Duval (Massachusetts, who succeeded Mitt Romney in the leadership of that state) and Mayor Cory Booker of Newark, all Democrats have praised the success of Bain Capital and Mitt Romney's leadership there. And why they along with a lot of other Obama supporters tried to tell Obama his campaign's attacks on Bain Capital, Private Equity firms, and Mr. Romney were barking up the wrong tree.
Mitt Romney's success turning around previously failing enterprises was the very reason he was recruited to save the troubled Salt Lake City Olympics, leaving Bain Capital and working diligently without a salary to accomplish a successful Olympics Games. And that success was the reason he was elected Governor of Massachusetts (again serving without a salary) after retiring from Bain, making very beneficial improvements in that state's Education systems, pre school thru University Post Grad, cutting taxes, obtaining an unemployment rate 1% point lower than the 5.6% national rate, and improving the State's ranking in new job growth from 51st in the Nation to 30th, all while erasing a $2.7 Billion dollar deficit when he took office and leaving a sizable rainy day fund for his successor.
Those are the reasons he is about to become the Republican's nominee for President and why he is going to win the election in November to put his leadership skills and business and government accumen to turning around this failing economy and government financial situation, Bob in Texas.
It's Barack Obama who took all our money in the tune of $6T in added debt and gave it to his buddies, bundlers and special interest groups. We got raped, duped and ripped off bigtime...so much for raising taxes.

The Dow is up due to the goosing of loose money from the Federal Reserve, not because there is faith in our economy during this administration. And the price we are going to pay for that is another bubble burst and the inflations that comes from the Feds attempt to force investors money into riskier financial assests by their policy of low interest and bond dividend rates.

Those questions from real media types will be about the piss poor economy, the excessive deficit spending...wasteful and inefficient, the expensive and failed pie in the sky alternative energy policies, the dangerous fiscal situation we find ourselves in under this Administration operating for the last three years without a budget, and the troubling Defense posture of this Administration as we face a resurgent Russia, growing Chinese militarism, Islamic terrorism and refuge in Pakistan for the radical fundamentalist Taliban, and the trouble making Iran and North Korea seeking ICBM development and expanding on nuclear weapon development. And Romney and Bain Capital arethe most respected private equity investors in the business and finance communities, but not for Obama ("you didn't build it-somebody else did that?), and his Nationalist Socialist crowd who prefer that it is the Government that invests in (with borrowed and tax payers dollars) and controls the private sector companies, like GM and the start up green energy companies that either went belly up or are still struggling, and moved or are moving jobs off shore, Brad.

David Plouffe, Obama White House Assistant and former Obama Campaign Manager in 2008 has been found to have benefited by in $100,000 speakers fees paid by a firm for two speeches given in Africa, and the firm is known and is under investigation for having done business with Iran.
Could this be the source of the security leaks to the press for political gain purposes for Obama that Dianne Feinstein, Democrat and Chair of the Senate Investigation Committee has said that are clearly coming from the White House? Does this Obama re-election campaign have no shame at all? No ethics? No sense of how dangerous their actions are to the security of the US and their allies in this troubled world?
