Romney aide Rick Gorka got a little heated with campaign reporters in Warsaw on Tuesday, telling them to "kiss his a--" when they tried to ask questions at a "holy place." Maybe the journalists were impatient because, as one noted, Romney has not taken questions since he was in England. Here are some more stories we discussed at the Last Word rundown meeting today:

Harry Reid: Bain Investor Told Me That Mitt Romney 'Didn't Pay Any Taxes For 10 Years'
In a visit to the solemn setting of Poland's Tomb of the Unkown Soldier are ever more Tabloid like press assigned to cause problems and try to make news instead of report the news were loudly shouting antagonistic questions like "Mr. Romney...would you like to say anything about your several GAFFES youve made on this trip?, interrupting the solemity of the occasion, and insolting the Polish officials as well as Mr. Romney. That when confronted by that antagonistic boorisness by these liberal hacks from the gutter media mentality, Mr. Romney maintained a stony, solemn silence and bearing while the ceremony concleded. His press secretary, however, who was not at Mr. Romney'sside but with the press contingent and addressed the insultin media hack with his retort, meant for his ears only, but CNN's reporter who had a recording microphone on captured the comment by Mr. Gorka, as well as the loud, challenging, insulting question by the errant media hack.
I would have barred that insulting clown from the plane for the return fligh home, cancelled his hotel room, and told him get his sorry ass back to the states on his own dime!
When Obama is interrupted by some reporter, as he was a month ago discussing in the Rose Garden the Supreme Courts handling of his ObamaCare legislation, the liberal media was highly critical, and incensed over the breach of decorum. Lets see how they handle this liberal reporter for his attacking, confronting, insulting outburst in Poland today.
Rumored that the Deputy Director of the ATF oversigh by the Holder Attorney General's Office has submitted a letter of resignation over the "Fast and Furious" gun running and subsequent attempts at cover up. ??He and 5 other officials had been reassifned in their duties recently while the IGs Office conducts its investigation into the whole deadly deplorable snafu that costs hundreds in Mexico their lives, and killed a U.S. Border Agent.
After all this, no one has been fired, suspended, or even reprimanded. But we have the Obama Executive Privilege claim to help hide the facts from coming to light until after the election, and the White House official listed as the Justice Department's and ATFs contact on this collassal blinder of a program has been convinently tansferred to some desk duties in our Embassy in Iraq, for Heaven's sake. This whole sorry chapter of intrigue and deception was to build a false case for further attempts to get new firesrms sales regulations in the Obama years, and hence the coverup of that by Holder, the Attorney General, since held in contempt of Congress for not cooperating with that body's Investigation Committee and stonewalling on the provision of documents known to exist.
But don't count on having any of this cleared up and made transparent before the election on November 6th.
Anyone up for a séance?

Friday AM, just about 8:30 AM, the July Jobs report for the month of July abd revisions of the data for June and MKay will be released by the U.S. Labor Department. Don't count on it being pretty.
Now, and in the three months run up to the election, the voters will begin to focus attention on the one most important issue of this election, the utter failure of the Obama stimulus approach, and restictive business and energy regulations and policies that created this last dismal quarter of only a 1.5% point growth (NOT) in our nations economy. It is well known that it will take several quarters of 4% or higher GDP growth figures to represebt a healthy economy that can begin to make a dent in the terrible plight of all our unemployed and underemployed American citizens and legal immigrants.
"Assets": that was the last word.
Romney's got big Assets.
angeleno. Yes. Big assets. They grow when one does not pay taxes on them!
All the money in the world can't buy character, brains, or class. Romney has many deficiencies and they are becoming more and more glaring after his trip to Europe and Israel. Clearly, this is not the man to lead the free world.
Do you realize the significance of what you just said, fool? Nothing grows when you pay taxes on your wealth...except the govenment employment roles and wasteful spending. The money taken from the capitalist and investor class dosn't go into the building of new business opportunities and industrial plants and new production opportunities.
From the Gospel According to Keith's #2 ranting (I added the bold to his words so he can more readily see why he's held in the esteem that he is):
I realize you're in such a hurry to toss out what you consider to be your apologetic bon mots to boost Mitts favorability ratings, but do please try to use the King's English and not your own.
And you know this for a certainty exactly...HOW?
And again I will ask the rhetorical question...how do you know it was a "liberal" reporter for a certainty? Because of the question that was asked? Pssstttt...
But since you brought up the subject of the interruption of Obama's speech,
can you not see the difference, laddie? One was nothing more than the rude interruption of someones speech on a topic of national importance by an admitted conservative reporter and the other was a question asked (ok, shouted) when Mitt was simply walking. But then, Republicans are noted for this kind of behavior (i.e. Rep. Joe Wilson (R) during a State of the Union speech). Perhaps if the Mitt-ster would be more outgoing and engaging with the media, then he wouldn't have so many of the problems that seem to plague him.
From Keith's #3:
And let's not forget his #4:
Even with all these numerous "gaffes", it's easily discernible you were actually having one of your better days there, "Boots". Ever hear of "proof reading"? "Spell check"? "Common sense"? No? Thought not...
As usual, most of your whining posts show little else but your opinions. However (TA DA!!!) you were absolutely correct about the benefits of horseback riding for those with MS and how it helped Mrs. Romney. But sadly, you misspelled "scleroses" also.
Perhaps you'll shine just a bit brighter next week...
I see that Mitt's senior boot-licker, chief apologist and general blog subject deflector is, once again, trying to enthrall us with fictionalized stories about how the rabid, evil press continually mistreats poor little old Mitt whilst simultaneously, trying to deflect the subject to anywhere as long as it's not on Mitt and his seemingly endless sting of faux pas...or gaffes, if you prefer.
Congrats on getting the job with Romney, Keith...glad to hear that he's put that ever-flapping tongue of yours to work trying to protect him from the perils of himself and his own doings. I doubt even you can lick that fast, but by all means, please...keep trying.
I don't know where else I could find such continual humor as in reading your diatribes, when I can get through all the grammatical errors, that is. Sometimes, I have to stop...the laughter that comes with reading your missives, you know. Just for fun, why don't you try and figure out why some of your words have red lines under them or are otherwise flagged by your selected browser. It could be a life-altering experience for you. Anyone can mis-spell a word or use the wrong one from time to time, nothing wrong with that, but you've truly made it into your own unique art form.
You may want to rethink that conservative position concerning the disbanding of the Department of Education...for you, it could be the only life ring within reach on a stormy sea.
Perhaps you are the "transparency" that Romney was alluding to in his recent speech. Yeah...easy enough to "see" that.
Remember Keith...hydrate often to keep that tongue of yours fluid...Mitt will like that. And who knows...Romney may let you ride on top of the car/bus/plane if you do a good job. That's a good lad...
Cabdriver Confession: I'm green with envy over EWO's post...
I wish I'd written it...
Bravo! Bravo!
Thanks, SL Cabbie, but I'm sure you're aware, as is anyone else who struggles to get from the start to the finish of Keith's ramblings, there is such an abundance of fertile ground that boy leaves to be trod, that you just can't possibly lose.
Yup, Keith reminds me much of Mitt...I wonder if he can possibly understand why?
Eyes Wide Open, #6, Excellent post!
Anything factual in your asinine ramblings there, EWO? Did or did not the press try to embarrass Mr. Romey while they were insulting the Polish officials and citizenry with their shouted insulting questions that they didn't expect an answer from on the visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Romney said it best in an inteview back in the US of A yesterday; the 4th Estate (really the Progressives Fifth Collumn) is looking for any distraction that they can manufacture and embellish in their writing and reporting to take the publics eyes of the disasterous economy due to the failed policies of the President and his Administation, and the real problems existing in the World, faced with potential attacks on our and our allies, mostly centered in the terror support of Iran, but also in a resurgent Taliban as even now the withdrawal from Afghanistan is underway.
And a resurgent Russia hungering for their old glory under the Soviet Union days of old, and a building and expanding miliatary in China is overlooked by the nations liberal media, who focus instead on so called gaffes, and titter away on that foolishness.
How about reporting the subject of Mr. Romney's speeches in Isreal and Poland on the real issues! How about not being the embarassment in your rush to mimic the inane Bristish tabloid mentality that has so poisoned their politics? How about getting a life?
Why thanks for asking, Keith. Yes there is...just review the entire first paragraph of what I wrote and the truth should smack you right in the kisser.
The press doesn't really have to try and embarrass Mitt...he's proven quite capable of doing that to himself on a daily basis...frequently multiple times a day. Let's see...he took 3 questions in London and then decided he wasn't going to take any more. Wow...what...substance. Well, if you can't play in the big leagues, there's always the minors, right?
Romney's speeches, as you refer to them, are telling in their lack of specificity. As usual, he just tosses out rhetoric without any backing or substantive meaning. But as a confirmed Republican chicken hawk, of course Mitt would be for re-engaging the conflict in Afghanistan, possibly back to Iraq also. Just seems he believes the world is his stage to promote war, or at least a whole lot of saber rattling. That's as long as his sons, like him, didn't have to serve, of course. If they did, he'd probably change his views on his predilection for continual world-wide conflict.
But here's a question for you to try and wrap your brain around...If Mitt didn't/doesn't want to answer press questions about his actions, then WHY did he allow reporters to accompany him on his trip? Did he expect them to blindly turn their heads when he sticks himself into controversial statements? Sorry Keith...you see, that's the beauty of video...it stays around long after the occurrence has happened. Much like all the video that shows Mitt taking a stand on something only to reverse it later on when he's pandering to some particular would-be voter segment.
I know some of you Conservatives have trouble staying on course, but like Sarah Palin in her one debate debacle, you don't get to change the narrative to what only you want to talk about. This subject isn't about Obama, his policies, his administration, etc. It's about Mitt and his continual penchant for saying stupid things or at least things that he obviously hasn't thought much about. I can just imagine the faces of his staff whenever he goes off-script...that's probably why he doesn't like to answer spontaneous questions...from almost anybody.
My life is fine, thank you. I have your comical posts to read whenever I need a touch of levity...and it's oh-so much better than being an apologist or (shudder!) a boot-licker.
Yeah...that's the guy you want in the top job. <snort, chuckle, guffaw>
Thank you, India LeCarre...cute avatar you have there.
Hey, I was in a hurry, making my usual shares of mis-keys and didn't edit or spell check, so sue me. if you couldn't get the gist of my comments, scroll over them and don't bother to bother your closed little (probably Virgo) limited mind, Eye Wide Open, in respomse to your noticing my typos and spelling errors comment.
As to your answer to my query on anything factual, you referred me to your first para: I looked, and here was nothing there at all resembling facts.
Your fantasy that I am a paid blog participant of the Romney campaign is something your quaint and probably queer soul mate the Cab Driver (ala Robert DeNiro character knock off from the movie Taxi Driver, you know?) has postulated here many times, but I assure you and he (a litteral Quinella of Dumb and Dumber) that I am just an old and learned comfotably retired individual with a keen interest in seeing the country doesn't go to hell as I have chilren and grandchildren living in it still that I would like to see thrive and prosper, and I'd like to leave them a little inheritance rather than have some Nationalist Socialist tax it all away.
Well, what else can I say, Keith? You continue to prove me correct with your every post. It's apparent you're just the kind of supporter Mitt is looking for...long on fact-less rhetoric and innuendo and short on cognitive ability.
In a way, you have a point...you really aren't worth the time it takes to correct your continual errors. That could turn into a whole new career for anyone looking for that abundance of work. If you are as "learned" as you claim, then doing the simple task of proofing your work should be of second nature to you...much like Romney's ability to backtrack his statements whenever he thinks it's to his advantage to do so. But, well, let's just say that you've yet to prove that ability. "comfotably"?..."chilren"? Seriously?
But do carry on with your mission, Keith. Like I told you, reading your posts always causes a modicum of mirth for me. And just for the record, I never said you were a "paid blog participant of the Romney campaign". But...if such were really the case, then you should seriously consider giving the money back. I'll leave it to you to understand the reasoning for that.
Virgo? Once again, you're absolutely clueless, aren't you?
$500,000 horse verses $1800 windsurfer. French vs American. Hoity Toity vs aerospace engineer and inventor. What a great slapdown of Charles Krauthammer! Best I've ever seen. Charles must be looking for a hole to crawl into. This video is an instant classic. Thanks Lawrence!
Windsurfing is fine, but until you've shortboarded a 30-footer, you're still a surf wimp.
Hey, horses provide manure, a valuable and usefull product (never mind the medical benefit for Ann Romney in her battle to combat the ravages of Multiple Scheloris). Wind surfing? Not so much.
Besides, its the Romneys money, not yours that was spent! They have the bucks, let them use it as they see fit! What skin is it off your teeth, socalflash?
And of course, Keith is a connoisseur of manure.
Actually, it is one green bio-fuel I approve of, angelino, and when I leased a farm in Western Massachusetts in the 80s, I used a lot of it as fertilizer for my hay crops and vegetable crops as a gentleman farmer.
