Mitt Romney made something of a stir Wednesday when he criticized London for some aspects of their Olympic preparation. Prime Minister David Cameron, however, was quick to defend his capital city's readiness to host the games. Here are some more stories informing the Last Word rundown tonight:

Boris Johnson and David Cameron were both absolutely right to call out Romney as they did. London is about to host the Olympic Games for the THIRD TIME - no other city has ever done that. Of course, they're ready! You don't insult the host city to its face, like Romney did. The man is a complete idiot and an utter fool...a total embarrassment to the United States.
What insult? Asked if from his experience as an Executive that successfully turned around a previously failing Olympics after he was brought in to rescue it what did he, Romney think of the chances that this Olympics would be a success, Mr. Romney gave an honest answer...its too early to tell. (This occurred before an opening ceremony even took place, for heavens sake). Was Mr. Romney supposed to ignore the two issues that the domestic and international media had been harping on: 1) the fact that the security firm that had the rich contract Immigration officials and workers at airports, ports, and railroad terminals being faced with a huge influx of interational visitors had been threatening to go on strike. Would the Brits and the tabloid journalists (and that includes, of course, MSNBC who gets more Phildelphia Inquirer like every day) have preferred a nonsensical vacuous answer? Of course not, and if they got that they would be crying out "shades of Sarah Palin" and "this would be president knows nothing of the issues"! So Brian Williams got a knowledgble and sensible answer to his stupid question: "How do you think this Olympics will turn out", answer: "It's too early to tell...there are a couple of disconcerting issues that need to be worked out".
Hurrah for Mr. Romney for being forthright and speaking the truth!

Have you ever gazed at the moonlight on a pleasant summer night, and contemplated the fate of humankind? Then, you slip back into your warm, comfortable bedroom, so you can fornicate with your female slave. This night, with a little luck, she will bare another slave child worthy of the goodly sum the last three fetched in the town square. You look into her blank soulless stare, and wonder what unfortunate curse this creature committed to deserve a life as a slave. Obviously, her enslavement was entirely her fault. Once she stops baring young, you shall free her; after all, she would not fetch much without other skills. You certainly do not plan to feed her in her old age; let her fend for herself.
On the other hand, have you ever slipped back into your bedroom to wake for duty at the internment camp of Jews as the soldier in charge of untangling the fresh corpses inside the fumigation bunkers? Oddly, you wonder why these people bunch up frozen in a death sculpture; whereas everyone reaches for the gas nozzle located in the ceiling center. Once the bunker de-gasses, and opened to pull the bodies out, live prisoners pull the tangled bodies apart, and bend the appendages straight to flatten them making it easier to toss into the furnaces. You are very pleased because the entire process from trains to furnaces runs much smoother than just a few years ago. Disposing of bodies by reducing them into ash proved a sound approach in ridding the world of these useless corpses.
On the other hand, and only recently, have you waken from your bunk at Marine Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba remembering while eating chow at 0900 that f****** terrorist begins his second phase of water boarding. You think over the process in your mind, and wonder if there could be a better way to use the defibrillator to revive him faster. That prisoner has gotten so used to dying by drowning, and zapped back alive; he now does not fight us out of his cell. I have to admit, that prisoner sure can take it; it has been months that he has been tortured. I know I would not last that long; I would just sign what ever.
These repugnant acts of evil dramatized above show one common denominator; man committed them all. This shows that any person has the capacity to commit evil very unaware they are doing anything wrong; just doing your job, so to speak. History repeats these acts, e.g. Vietnam, Trail of Tears, etc., ad nausuem. Even The Experiment from University in California proved volunteers pretending to act as prison guards eventually torture, and commit violence against fellow student volunteers who prior were friends.
Another fact is self evident that evil rests just under our public façade of good. Some philosophers speculate that the balance between good and evil differs by only a single percentage point. The second fact that becomes evident to all who have suffered from evil(s) must not only fight evil, but also recruit other good peoples to join in the battles. The outcome holds dire consequences to all who live on this planet. What would the world become if evil won? Only blond hair, blue eyed and mostly mindless souls would thrive on this planet if Nazi ideology had won the war. This evil was so great; it took practically every human participant’s involvement on the face of this planet (plus possibly Foo E.T. as well).
Science proved we entire human species need each other for gene pools, companionship, and aspiration. We stimulate each other with love, laughter, and all other human emotions that write our life experiences. If we need each other so much, then why should we allow our evil to kill us? Do we wish to live or to die?
Another fact regarding acts of evil exists. No amount of restitution could ever make the victims whole again. No act of redress can ever compensate these victims or the people the evil affected. Entire generations suffer.
All of humanity today and all humanity of our future owe an apology to Israel, African slaves, and all other victims of torture and abuse that we with our entire free will could never be given forgiveness. The most we can hope for is to keep these historic evil events in our priorities, so we may fight evil where ever and when ever it surfaces.
Israel have paid enough lives to warrant the right to exist; do you not think so?
The next time you step out in a warm summer evening, gaze at the moon, and consider the restitution our Government's victims' deserve. Shall we prosecute a death sentence to this poor tortured man, and rid his anguish once and for all, or shall we enslave him further until he dies of old age? During his trial, it would be interesting to hear how many Americans lives were saved from each time we tortured him.
I wonder who will save our Nation's soul? Can we ever be given forgiveness by our Allies and friends? We can not as a single minded nation even admit to our evil, let alone ask for forgiveness. We must get a hold of our politics because being an American today is becoming different from what my parents, teachers, and Government taught me growing up.
The funny thing is that on one of the few times Romney actually tells the truth, he gets in trouble.
