This was simply a political gambit to embarrass the Republcan minority in the Senate, and the Majority in the House. It is going nowhere. And the Democrats haven't got the courage or the stupidity to drive this issue over fiscal the cliff by the end of the year.
The House will vote a bill to preserve all the tax cuts that have existed for the past 12 years, anything else is simply a tax increase at this point!
