Ann Romney defended her husband's decision to not release any more years of tax returns than he had previously promised, reportedly saying that they've "given all you people need." "Poll tax comments" by AG Eric Holder meant to incite racial tensions?

In 2008 this AG Eric Holder refused to approve the taking of legal action on a voters rights breach by members of the Black Panthers who stood outside polling places intimidating white voters in Philly swinging pick ax handles and chanting "a black man is going to be elected President today". In 2012 he is suing a number of Secretary of States acting on the direction of their Governors and duly elected legislatures to protect the sanctity of the vote in their states in the National Election in November by pairing the felons, the non-citizens, and the dead off their voter registration rolls and stopping the ruse of those types of would be voters from coming to the polls without proper identification to cast provisional ballots until their identifications and legal right to votes can be checked at a later date. That was a favorite tactic of the fradulant ACORN, the Obama favored and finanacially supported community organizing enterprise that has been caught with their hand in the coolie jar of voting turnout drives and registration irregularities in the past. Eric Holder, that racist Attorney General, is out to help his boss get reelcted by hook or by hook, but this time around there will be no intimidation in the streets or in the courts. These clowns are headed back to Chicago after November.

I'm pretty sure the answer is that nobody on the far-right fact checks the liberal "lies" at MSNBC, and especially during primetime, because MSNBC doesn't routinely broadcast them. Unlike Fox News, MSNBC's programming is not built around fitting as much provably inaccurate information into hour-long broadcasts as is humanly possible. In others words, MSNBC is not in the propaganda business the way Fox News is.

The New York Times admits, sort of, that it got duped by right-wing propagandists who appear to have succeeded in a plot to destroy ACORN, an organization that has aided and defended the poor and powerless across the United States for four decades.
In an op-ed column Sunday [linked], the Times Public Editor Clark Hoyt said he has reviewed the available information and concluded that some key points of the right-wing video presentation were false or misleading, including the claim that right-wing media activist James O'Keefe showed up at ACORN offices dressed in a pimp costume before getting legal advice on setting up a brothel.
Hoyt also acknowledged that perhaps the most damning part of the ACORN sting story was wrong: ACORN staffers did not go along with a plan to use under-aged Salvadoran girls as prostitutes. Indeed, the staffers may have thought they were helping to protect the girls.

Scooping up the money and hoping folks didn't think I was showboating too much by running the table this time...
For both of the above two posters that have a hardon for Fox News (is it Jenna or Megan that enthralls you so?), I have news for you. I go between CNBC and MSNBC or Bloomberg News day hours until after 600 PM, when I go to Fox for their news and roundtable commentary, then CNN for Erin Burnett Out Front (in every meaning of those words), and whatever Sports events are being broadcast until 10:00 until Greta comes on or Larry, or Tosh.0, although I much prefer the former and the latter to Little Lying Larry and his usual cast of chronic childish complaining clowns. Then I close my day with John Stewart and Colbert.
And I'm not concerned with Acorn's aiding and abetting child illegal immigrant prostitution in their desire to help the communities of the "poor and powerless", although I don't believe it was a good use of federal tax dollars. It was the voter fraud schemes of Acorn that I vehemently take special affront at as I served my country and this democracy in my military service as did family members, and I'm not standing by quietly watching radical leftists help felons and non-citizens vote.
BTW: Another wasted quarter million dollars by the Government Services Administration, for a Conferance and Awards Presentation get together of fat cat federal bureucrats. You would think after the last bru ha ha of GSA's obscenely wasteful spending for their Las Vegas junket, that our Cheif Executive Messiur Obama would have seen the light and put the screws to them, battening down the hatches so to speak. But no, too many fund raising events, too many rounds of golf, and too many appearances before the press and campaign rallies whining for more tax money to spend on "green" energy and non shovel ready wasteful projects and mysterious needs for more public empoyment in the nation is what we got from this incompetant JIVE politician Obama instead.

What Ann Romney meant by "you people" is the leftist media hounding this issue pushed by the Obama campaign. News flash: according to the just released NY Times/CBS poll Obam's overall favorability rating has slipped 6% points from a very poor 42% in April, to only 36% now after going with this lying nonsense attack campaign on Romney. And Romney gets 55% to Obama's 39% support for best to handle the problems of our economy now. Seems like the liking and support for the previous Hope and Change and Transformational candidate of 2008 is slumping big time as he shows himself to be just another do nothing, dirty politician with no clue about his job and how to go about fullfilling the promises he so easily made 4 years ago.
Well Keith maybe you hit the nail. The media is to blame for much of the political divide we have. It's been corrupted by big corporate money for over 150 years now. They have been driving the system that caused the civil war, 2 world wars, the great depression, the assassination of presidents and the fall of our economy as we see it today. Our founders intended the media to be a neutral watch dog that kept an eye on the government and just reported what it is doing. Not to take sides or support one party or another. Nor should it side with any other nation or religion, such as israel for example. The media should not have a religion, only look out for the interests of America as a whole. Both Fox and MSNBC are guilty of promoting the divide, CNN is trying to look like they are neutral but they are pro-israel and support it''s agenda all the time. You can find political bias all over the internet and in all of those little free rags you see at the counters of shops etc. The closest one I have found on-line that seems to be neutral is OP-Ed news. The people we elect are supposed to be working for us, you know, "We The People" of America, not for some tax dodging corporation that keeps most of it's assets off shore.
Don't give us crap about Obama raising our taxes, because he can't, only the congress can levy taxes, only congress can spend our money, and declare a war. The president can ask congress to do these things, submit budgets etc, but they are the ones that vote for them. It's the congress aka the People's House that we need to get control of aka take away from the corporations and return it to it's original purpose, to represent the people of America. If these corporations are truly individuals then Sony is one person with one vote in one district, as are any of the 1000+ corporations here, they shouldn't be able to buy whole elections, let's enforce our election laws, force these corporations to become tax paying US citizens and show us their birth certificates and photo ID before they cast their ONE vote in the district that their headquarters is in. Take control of it ourselves. Haliburton isn't an American citizen their corporate headquarters isn't in the US. Shell is a Dutch company they can't vote here either. I know that this is a bit off topic, but. All you birthers out there need to jump into Romney's past. George W. Romney was not born in the USA. It was in Colonia Dublán in Galeana in the state of Chihuahua (one of the Mormon colonies in Mexico) where George was born on July 8, 1907. I got this out of Wikipedia. So he committed election fraud when he ran for president against Nixon. There was an article from ABC news at that also raises this issue and states that because he was born to US citizens in Mexico it makes him a US citizen. So now to open another can of worms. How does it make all of these Mexican kids born to these legally Mexican citizens living in the US illegally or otherwise, US citizens? The "birthright" issue works both ways, so George Romney was not a legal citizen of the US. The Constitution does not state anything about people born abroad to US citizens except for those who are working for the US government in one capacity or another. Like McCain, his daddy was in the navy stationed in Panama, where John was born. G. Romney's parents were living there at a Mormon colony to escape the laws against polygamy in the US. They were there on their own freewill aka by choice not on behalf of the US government in any way. How many grandmothers does Mitt have 4 or 5? How many wives does he really have? And are they all US citizens, or do they live in Mexico? HE HE!!! I used my P-38 to open that can. Hey if all these idiot birthers can make all that false noise about Obama's birth certificate I can make this noise about Romney.
How can Mittins use any part of his daddy's checkered past and political career to compare it to his own, unless he is also a fraudster, like they say "a chip of the old block". If his daddy was willing to commit election fraud who is to say Mitt wouldn't commit tax fraud, thus the reason he won't release any of his tax records. All of these questions need to be asked and honestly answered.

how come no one has assumed the worst? Ann Romney said "you people" to a black interviewer. I've never known a black person who likes the phrase "you people" when being spoken to by an angry white person. And the Romneys are Mormon...and Mormons seem to have a long history of not liking black folks.
