Mitt Romney has or had a Swiss bank account, Barack Obama has Swiss friends who likely have Swiss bank accounts. George Clooney is hosting a campaign fundraiser for the president in Geneva, Switzerland.
And you're invited, according to the Obama campaign website. It reads, "Please join Americans Abroad for Obama and special guest George Clooney for a reception in Geneva."
Deadline.Com reports that the dinner will $20,000 for a individual ticket and $30,000 for a couple to attend. The good news for Clooney is it's just a five-hour drive from Lake Como, Italy where he spends his summers.

When they say the Forbes 400 billionaires (American and other countries you can bet too) control the elections via buying enough air times with donations, you have to wonder how the battle will go with Clooney and the likely dozens or hundreds of donors in his range within the Acting/Entertainment/Music/Sports world support Obama. My guess is if most of them do like Bill Maher did and more than Maher for the wealthiest entertainers probably worth hundreds of millions, it could get real interesting. Add that they may star in some of the ads or use their creativity to develop or write them, I would guess and that will make it double interesting. Also, aren't about all of them in a Union of some type even if they are millionaires, or were during their early years climbing to their way to the top? Hopefully their accountants don't fight their donations, but they can always fire their accountants can't they and find more liberal ones?
The majority of actors/muscians and the atheletes might be Democrat Party supporters, but the big money guys who own the Movie, Music, and Sports Teams lock, stock, and barrel will be forking it over to the Republican Party you can bet, Big Bearcatbill. so it's probably a wash, and won't come near to making up for what Obama and the Dems won't be getting from the Business Sector or Finance Sector this year after his disastrous policies of the past three & 1/2 years.
