Filmmaker Michael Moore stopped by The Last Word Thursday night to discuss the Supreme Court's landmark decision to uphold most of the Affordable Care Act. I got a chance to talk with Mr. Moore after the show about a blog post on his site. Check out his Very Last Word above.

Moore's a fascinating character in that he is a classic capitalist who made his fortune bashing capitalism. Can't beat that!!
I seemed to have missed something. Moore "bashes" capitalism? Okay, the only movie of his I've seen is "Farenheit 9/11," and I didn't see any bashing of capitalism there...
Okay, if you want to stretch things and suggest bashing capitalism amounts to telling a story about the subverting of our electoral process that occurred after a renegade news organization miscalled election results in Florida, okay, but, I'm going to do more than quibble over terms. That took place as part of the agenda of its crooked and soon-to-be-senile overlord (who subverted American law himself in acquiring citizenship here so he could purchase said organization). And said election resulted in the ascension to the Oval Office of a prodigal/profligate scion of a wealthy sort who did, in part, make his fortune as a capitalist, but then became director of the CIA, served in Congress, and became first Vice-President and then President of the United States... I can't see what I missed, but it has been a few years since I watched it...
And where's the capitalism bashing in "Bowling for Columbine"? Do you mean how he identifies the firearms industry and claims it is manufacturing something evil? Shoot, what I think he was hollering about was the culture of violence and the people who've been killed by those products. I mean it's an NRA mantra that guns don't kill people, people kill people, right?
Reminds me, I need to go see "Sicko" which I hear is about the sorry state of health care. I think you'll agree that one is a picture of an overgrown monstrosity that has arisen from the marriage of private health care--with many medical providers enjoying the fruits of grant money from the public sector; I know, my sister is an MD in the field--and government programs such as Medicaid and Medicare...
I'll have to watch that one to figure out what Moore is really saying. No way is that going to happen by listening to to silly simplistic talking points.
How about that little nastiness on Moore's attacking the Big Three Auto Industries that got him his start, Cab Driver? Or that latest nonsense trying to get the Banks to give him the Tarp Funds, and/or make citizen's arrests on their management and boards of directors? Looked slightly like a blend of Wooblies and Communiistic sentiments to me!
that's a bit insulting. I mean, I am a democrat, educated, with a degree in astronomy and certified teacher, and a person who values education very highly, and I am also a christian. I don't think that faith is the divide, what is the real divide is ignorance.
Main stream media and the left and right want us to fight over liberal vs conservative so they can enact more and more gov policies, gov, and laws to keep the public in check and future generations in debt to the federal gov.....its so easy to see ppl wake up.
Take another hit, Timmy, and go much out!
Moore is just sucking up to liberals so he could sell more bootleg of his films.
Cindy, that was a nifty Sarah Palin impersonation with that fracturing of the meaning of "bootleg." Severely done...
