Mitt Romney’s planning a jam-packed first day if elected to the Oval Office: repeal Obamacare, tackle the deficit, move to cut taxes and stand-up to China — all in 24 hours.
His campaign released four new TV ads late last week, each one catering to a specific swing state. The spots mention what he would do on the first day and what he would accomplish within his first 100 days on the job. The ads are running in Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia.
- Iowa: "Day one, President Romney moves to repeal Obamacare and attacks the deficit, starting with $20 billion in savings."
- North Carolina: "Day one, President Romney moves to repeal Obamacare. Then Romney moves to cut taxes that kill jobs."
- Virginia: "Day one, President Romney moves to repeal Obamacare and attacks the deficit, starting with $20 billion in savings."
- Ohio: "Day one, President Romney stands up to China, demands a level playing field for our businesses and workers."

So what's the point of this post? Would we rather have him play a round of golf like our current office holder, who is now over 200 rounds of golf in his 3&1/2 years in office? So Romney's ambitious to get to work solving some problems...that's a good thing, right?
I trust everyone saw David Letterman's take on this subject...

And Grandpa, the Google god is really going to make you look silly this time. As President, Dwight D. Eisenhower played over 800 rounds of golf during his eight years in the Oval Office...

I hear he was a pretty fair bridge player, too...
That's because Ike was an accomplished executive that got his work done, Cab Driver? I'm thinking the amateur Obama would have done better to pay attention to his job...perhaps like leading the Democrats and Republicans in Congress to bi-partisan agreements on economic issue enhancements as he promised he would in 2008?
Two words that put the kibosh on that view of Eisenhower's judgment, Grandpa...
Richard Nixon.... And I was a little young in '61 when Ike left office, but I heard the phone call from him supporting his former veep in '68... Of course you're as deaf to that subject as you are to Ike's farewell speech warning about the Military-Industrial Complex... Of course Ike was 16 years older than Mr. Obama when he was elected to the presidency, and he did have a World War to practice some management stuff and how to maneuver around idiots...
And as I see it in only way to have brought about any bipartisan agreements with the Republicans would've been to send Seal Team Six after a few of them. I think he made the right call to have them get Bin Laden instead.
Some stuff from Fuzzie's Etch-a-Sketch...
Dream Act: Killed by a Senate Fillibuster
American Jobs Act: Killed by a Senate Filibuster
Per Wiki, the 111th Congress broke all records for Senate filibusters...
As for Obama doing anything in 2008, well, Bush '43 was still president that year, oh silly slayer-of-syntax...
Dream Act...until the border is sealed against further illegal incursions, we can't afford to add other enhancements to people to break and enter our country. This is the issue that killed comprehensive immigration reform in the first place under the Bush, McCain initiative.
American Jobs Act had the Buffet Rule Millinonaires Tax increases as part of its payment and the rest (the largest cost) would be more borrowed money. We can't afford more borrowed money with the one year old debt limit going to be breached even before the election, and taking money from the state and municipal bond buying people and corporate bond buying people and small business startup people to pass thru bmyriad money stealers in federal agencies hands foer inefficient and wasteful reelection pump priming in the swing states isn't somethinf this country needs.
"...as he (Obama) promised he would in 2008" refers to Obama's campaign promises, and there is no syntax problem, its simply the disfunction of the improperly firing neuron's in your booze addled brain that causes you to not understand the queen's English, Cab Driver.
Sorry, Cab Driver, but you got nothing!
Romney will not win in November unles he can be more specific about what he will do.
The Republicans better thhink about this before they nominate him. I have predicted that he will not win and it still stand. As a matter of fact each day I am becoming more convinced that he cannot win. Santorum would have a better chance of winning. If he were to be nominated I might predict that he will win.
Another country heard from!
