If it's a cause you and your spouse believe in, why not?
Why not? The word "inappropriate" comes to mind.
Would have done it at my wedding.
Wow, is Obama and the DNC really that desperate. This is not a good sign.
The idea is not new.
I remember republican wedding registries for Bob Dole in the 1990s before white supremacist billionaires decided to get involved.
I wonder if Cindy's bad grammar isn't a sign of something else... Say...

If I went to a registry for wedding gifts and saw a political donation being suggested for a candidate I really wasn't even of dreaming of supporting, I would probably lose my gift givin' loving' feelin' immediately. Religion, sex, and politics might be alright for the drunken bachelor and bachelorette parties, but not the wedding discussions, including the gift registry.
News flash: you wouldn't have been invited.
Anyone making a donation to the Obama campaign in Grandpa Fuzzie's name can have a free cab ride and tour of historic sites next time they visit Planet Utah...
(okay, better give credit to Adam below for that one)
Cabbie
Keith is over that way - I was just picking up some loose change I saw on the ground. See my arm band - it says "Observer".
Pretty low rent for a wedding - but as a birthday gift for that friend who does not share enlightened progressive views - this has potential. One might want to cover their electronic trail a bit though ...
Rather than this little piece of humerous fluff, why don't we discuss the Bashin' Bashir favorite guest comentator, Politco's Joe Williams who is now out of work due to his racist tweets and racist comment Thursday on Bashir's afternoon show that "Mitt Romney is comfortable only being around 'white people'". This anti-white, pro-black racism is prevalent on this MSNBC channell every week, with claims also made by Chris Mathews this week on the Eric Holder investigation and contempt charges for his lying and then stonewalling on the cover up trail, which Mathews claims amounts to a "stop and frisk" campaign against Holder because he is a black man.
No wonder this network is at the bottom of the barrell now, and dropping lower everyday in ratings! I think its probably time to pull the plug, FCC! This isn't free speech at this network, it is hate speech! Joe Williams is out of work, lets put the rest of this race baiting crowd out of work also!
Keith: The following is the exact quote this past Thursday during an appearance on the show hosted by Martin Bashir, Williams said this:
For clarity, what is not factual or do you object to in the above quote? Also, I read that Joe Williams was suspended for 3 days, not "out of work" but for those 3 days.
That's an accurate quote, and of course it's William's loaded playing the race card that already got him in hot water and a warning from the good folks at Politico for his tone in his Tweets. And while you are correct that he was suspended, Williams also tweeted his followers that "I'm done at Politico". Apparently he was of the believe that he can't return to work under their editorial oversight.
You do agree that MSNBC seems to gravitate to this race baiting tactic, do you not, bluesmokeand mirrors? That's why Williams will be welcome back with open arms no matter if his time with Politico is done, imo!
