Where did you get that notion? Every account of Obama's gaff states that he read it off a teleprompter. His staff had to write his speech ahead of time for it to be put on a teleprompter. Do you actually believe they didn't review it? Anyway, I don't hear a foreign country demanding an apology for the misspell on the phone app. Like the poster stated, "Pretty small potatos compared to the gaffe written into Obama's awarded of the Freedom Medal to a Polish hero of the resistance in World War II"......

The crazy housing bubble and wall street investment band and AIG Insurance credit default swap derivative products that blew up the financial structure is what tanked the economy, and the drive for all of that expansion actually began under the Clinton Administration, and Alan Goldberg as head of the Federal Reserve then had his hand in the matter all the way thru into Bush's term of office.

The China raid on our industrial base also was something that was engineered in the Clinton Administration, as he was the initiator of the Most Favored Nation Trade Status to China.

The Bush Administration wasn't guiltless with this, as they went along with the perceved benefits of the housing financing boom as we struggled thru the dotcom bubble bust and 9/11 hit to our economy. Alas, there is sufficient blame to go around for both parites here, in White Houses, and in Congress, Ronnie.

Bush's total national debt (not a deficit in a budgetted fiscal year) at the end of Bush's second term of office was 8.7 Trillion, and the amount he added to the national debt that had been rising since the World War II era was over was sequential to that. Obama has run that up towards 15 trillion in just 3&1/2 years in his first term of office, and we are headed into another breaching of the debt limit for this nation by Labor Day of this year. And what is the good Pres doing about that? Going about the politics of reelection as usual, while doubling down on federal spending every where he can, and he can quite a bit without a budget to live by thanks to Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats!

I have to vote with Obama on this puny argument. At least the money he spent was on this country, and not to line the pockets of Halliburton et al. Oh, and what about that $7 BILLION in CASH that Bush had flown to Iraq? Did anybody ever find that? Mmmm, I don't think so. So you righties can b*#ch all you want about Obama's spending, but it doesn't hold a candle to what your last 'great' Repub President did to us as a country.

I believe a good portion of the $7 billion went to buy information from and support of formerly antagonistic elements in the Iraq population in order to defeat the threat of the Hussien loyalist gurriellas and Al Quieda in Iraq, while shoring up the defense on the incursion of weapons from Iran, including the IEDs that had been taking such a toll on the Allied Troops and the civilian population.

By the Way, Bush ended the Iraq War as we know it, and his administration with our allies wrote the conditions of the withdrawal of our troops after standing up the Iraqi military and police forces for their new democratic, friendly govenment. Obama just carried out the plan, but is now trying to take credit for concluding the War in Iraq, you know?
