Colin Powell joined the ranks of leaders to stand up for marriage equality.
Just two weeks after President Obama declared his support of same-sex marriage, the former secretary of state under George W. Bush said he had "no problems with it" during an interview on Wednesday. "I don’t see any reason not to say that [same-sex couples] should be able to get married under the laws of their state or the laws of the country."
He added, "I support the president's decision.”
Powell served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff when Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell first began in 1993. Two years ago, he announced backed the repeal of DADT.

Powell also stated he is on the board of a private equity investment firm, and he believe Bain Capital has had a goodrecord of success in their take overs, restructurings, and workouts to get failing companies up on their feet again.
Funny, Democrat Governor and "friend" of Barrack Obama Patrick Duval of Massachusetts where Bain Capital was founded and calls that state it's headquarters also stated today that "Bain Capital is a good company, and has been successful!"
Seems Obama's negative attack campaign on Bain Capital and Romney's values is falling on deaf ears even amongst his supporters except for the rabid fools at MSNBC!
He's a better surrogate than Cory Booker and unexpected too.
This is the guy that told us there were weapons of mass destruction.
