The men's magazine Maxim has an unusual addition to its Hot 100 list of the world's sexiest women. Coming in this year at no. 69 was... Stephen Colbert.
The magazine allowed its readers to vote and due to a huge write-in campaign, Colbert slipped in at no. 69 ahead of Kat Dennings, Sofia Vergara, and Lois Griffin (yes, that Lois Griffin).
The Huffington Post reports the text of the award reads:
In special recognition of his continued efforts to bring to light the issues, both real and imagined, that face women, and generously putting a male voice to their struggles, which is far louder and therefore more convincing than a female one, Stephen Colbert, with the approval of most of the women around the office, is conferred upon the title of 'Honorary Woman' with all the honors, privileges and nearly the same rights as men.
Maxim explained Colbert's auspicious prize this way: Democracy isn't always pretty: "Sometimes it's downright handsome. With a massive write-in vote campaign, the Colbert Nation proved they're not only loyal but also incredibly horny."
Maxim's entire list can be perused here.

The Economy and the Deficits? Hello? Anybody home MSNBC?
Dude, really? I think a little bit of humor is allowed now and then, don't you?
I posted a link to Chris Matthews' piece on what Grandpa is hollering about, but beyond screaming about the vast media conspiracy (McCarthyism 2012, incidentally), I think he'll turn tail and run the same way he always does when he sees someone stand up to him and holler bull@!$%#.

"The Biggest Lie of All" from the GOP
On Wednesday, financial news service MarketWatch produced a chart that Republicans are going to have a tough time explaining away. Here's the upshot: over Barack Obama's four years in office, federal spending will rise a mere 0.4 percent.
So that raging inferno of debt and out-of-control spending that Mitt Romney and the rest of the Republicans hammer on relentlessly? On Hardball on Wednesday, Salon's Joan Walsh cut to the chase: "What's the biggest lie they’ve told so far? Birtherism is vile, but it is really a crackpot fringe. This might be the biggest lie of all," Walsh said.
Copy and paste much, Keith?
LMAO - Awesome!!
(S)He has a hot pair of racks!
When will Colbert's vacation end! Oh The agony THE AGONY!
