"President Obama's embrace of 'marriage equality' makes it a 'big' campaign issue!
Give me a break! The 'big' campaign issues are the dreadfully no growth economy, the high unemployment and higher underemployment, the pi** poor energy policy, and the flagging defense posture of the U.S., once a great superpower.
pi** poor energy policy???? The Chevy Volt only cost the taxpayers 250k apiece to develop and build and they sell for 40k.
They get real good mileage.
Yeah, but try to sell one used. Nobody buys used battery powered electronics. Nobody! And the selling price of the Volt is more like $75K last time I looked, and the battery cost makes up 40% of that. Too the infrastructure just isn't there and never will be there to take it to work on a long commute and plug it in for a recharge. But you go for it if you think Carbon isn't something that all vegation from trees life to algae needs to thrive and survive and spend accordingly.
Obama took a great moral stand for equalily. A great historical decision as great as any of Augustus Caesar's decisions. I think that Augustus is the greatest historical ruler and I would place Obama second.
Problem being Luigi that failed presidents aren't "rulers" in our country.

Are you aware of the fact that Obama is NOT an LGBT rights pioneer? 10 countries already have marriage equality. The Netherlands were the first in 2001. Also, Canada and Australia have allowed LGB people to serve openly in the military since 1992. The USA was the LAST country in the Western world to permit this. So, Obama's announcement was nothing special.

Yeah, but oddly enough they are allowed to kill people.
38 states have already voted against gay marriage. The people have spoken. Barry's numbers have been dropping ever since he made that meaningless announcement.
It's like the Economy, and Energy, and Defense policies, Eugene; Obama would rather be "fair" and "right" than effective if fair and right means "progressive" in a secular Nationalist Socialist movement.
The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is FACTUALLY INCORRECT. They are not real happy that he would be used to further a political agenda. He's the guy that the Washington Post said that Romney ALLEGEDLY cut his hair 45 years ago in high school. Was the ever an investigative report on this, or was this just typical left wing liberal bull s#@&t trying to stir up a hornets nest. Why don't they read Nobama's book and see what he admits that he did in high school, cocaine, marijuana, bullied girls. Who really gives a rats furry ass what Romney, Nobama did back in high school. This upcoming election should be judged by more important issues, not this B. S.
The Romney and Lauber classmate of 50 years ago whose interview provided the gist for the mill of the story (read political hit job) of The Washington Post has also come forward to say that he wasn't in attendance of the supposed incident of hazing/bullying, but had only been relating hear say information he had learned.
As usual, the uber Liberal Media rushes forward with a dig up the dirt story about a Republican candidate. Remember the job they tried to do on John McCain with that nonsense about anonymous sources providing information of his recent dalliance with a lobbyist during his campaign, or Dan Rather's skuttling an honorable newman's career with that business of George Bush's National Guard forged efficiency report on the eve of his reelection in 2004?
In "Dreams of My Father" Barack Obama in his own words describes how he once shoved a girl so hard in the High School hallway that she was sent reeling backward, and once she had her feet under her ran from him in fear. Did you see any of the liberal media outlets (think sewer) mentioning that in a fair and balance juxtapositioning to this little nugget from Romney's high school hijinks? NO, of course not, and you won't so don't hold hour collective progressive breaths waiting for it either, dimwits.
