Isn't it sad that this blog either: 1. does not know the name of the next President of France, or 2. does know his name, but doesn't want to confuse us by using it.
Lawrence,
This story in your rewrite is surely something that needs to be exposed, but I must admit I am disappointed in the approach you have taken here. What the Sean Harris sermon exposed was really bad enough. It only weakens your credibly when you deliberately misconstrue things in the sermon to make them seem even worse (admittedly, making it worse must have seemed like a challenge, sure, but the attempt is simply bad form). When Pastor Harris said "Instead of squashing that like a cockroach..." it is obvious the "that" he refers to is not the child, but rather the behavior.
Much of Pastor Harris' "apology" may be complete BS, but the last part, where he claims not to have advocated for squashing children, that part was true. He only advocated for breaking their wrists.
For Lawrence to challenge that part of the statement was overkill. That kind of tactic is something I witness from pundits on the Right, and I would hope that I could expect better from pundits I listen to. Please don't let your own ethics be degraded to that level. I understand it must be very tempting, but actually using that tactic is a miscarriage of your responsibilities. Corruption is a slippery slope. Arrest your slide now, Lawrence, please. before you end up some hack whose words I will be ashamed to quote.
C'mon Lawrence you know Ann Romney's $990.00 tee shirt was a Chinese knockoff, probably from one of Mitt's investment companies
The t-shirt only looks decent on a young, thin girl. Ann Romney looked ridiculous. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it looks good on you. Michelle Obama always looks good and appropriate. If you're going to wear something expensive, make sure you don't look like a doofus. I'm talking to you, Ann.
Did Laura Bush shop at Sears? Nancy Reagan? i don't think so.
Why do you have Megan McCain on?
I do not care how much Ann Romney spent on the t-shirt. What I care about is when her husband starts talking about the poor and especially the so-called Seven-Eleven cookies and the refusal to eat the cookies. Cookies someone made for that special occasion and the cookies were ridiculed. What an insult? How do Romney know what a Seven-Eleven cookie look like? Sounds as if Mitt has been in Seven-Eleven. Also, when Ann Romney says she understands the working woman. No she does not because she never had 2 or 3 jobs just to make ends meet and then come home to your home job to take care of your family. That is what's called out of touch.
OK Lawrence, how about giving us some real news LIKE RON PAUL AMASSING DELEGATES BY THE TON in Maine, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, Iowa, and looks to pick up Kansas and Oklahoma, and just about every Santorum stomping ground.
How about telling us the REAL number of delegates Ron Paul has - and to do that you have to remove a whole lot from the Romney column ....... we are talking delegates in the hundreds going to Tampa to support Ron Paul.
Give us some real news Larry - show us the MONEY ..... in this case .... the numbers.
OH, what's that ... yes ... you work for the main stream media .... not gonna do that .... yeah ... I thought so.
You are so full or righteous indignation ....... its nauseating.
America is being robbed of a decent GOP candidate in Ron Paul - We can agree Romney and his faux wife are just bad news, but c'mon - stop the blackout and downright blatant shutout of Ron Paul.
The people deserve the truth.
