Just watched Chris Mathews get taken down by Michael Steele for Mathews returning to his catch phrase "The Grand Wizard of the Republican Party" applying the term to Mitt Romney. After being taken down by Stelle abruptedly for that little piece of nastiness, Mathews came back with a half-arsed apology of sorts, saying "I didn't mean to say Grand Wizzard".
Oh but you did, Chris, you did mean it because you said it! Did you really think that would enlist Steele to your caustic cause?
And the assine, cocky Martin Basjhir opened his hour today with an illconceiver remark about the potential running mates for Mitt Romney as being possible "dog" team members. I guess he's still back in the "dog eat dog" world of a few days ago.
When exactly are these commentators going to try to deal with the real issues before the American body politic? Oh, of course, their candidate, the obstinate borrow and tax to spend Obama is on the wrong side of them, so we can't go there. That same Obama that today went to the gutter with a comment drawing a comparison of the Republican and Blue Dog Democrats (those that have not been eaten up by the huge mismanagement of our economy and finances by the their President and his friends in the Democrat members of Congress), this same President who gives speeches about "civility" in political discourse, compared the free spending cutting plans of the Republicans and their Independant and Democratic like minded individuals as similiar to those that brought the HOLLOCAUST to the Jewish peoples in the 1930s and early 40s.
FOR SHAME, FOR SHAME, FOR SHAME...all three of these arseholes should spend a fortnight in the stocks for their outrageous diarehea of the mouth. But that's what you get for eating dog meat.
keith 1st odonnell made a racist remark at steele. now matthews makes a racist remark at steele. its clear pmsnbc knows barry cant run on his record so they will brand reps as racists.
Mathews and the rest of the MSNBC crowd claimed in 2008 that if McCain was elected it would be because American are racists.
Now Mathews and his ilk are spewing their racebaiting nonsense that if Obama is not reelected, it will be because America is racist.
Damed if you do, damed if you don't according to this crowd, who don't see the absurdity of their statements and focus on everything as an issue of race, or gender, or socio-economic class. And they can't possibly conceive of the great speechifier being sent packing by an enbittered electorate fed up with a weak kneed, do nothing President whose fee spending and reckless borrowing policies and restrictive coal, oil, and gas exploeation and production energy practices and policies have made things worse in our country's economy from when he took office. To the tune of 5,000,000 jobs lost, and 90+% of those lost by women, and gas prices rocketing up from $1.94 per gallon to over $4.00 per gallon avg. Don't even get me started on the cost increases in food and apparrel. The only thing that has fallen during his three and a half years in office has been the average value of homes, and that ain't in any way good!
His practices and policies supported by the Democrats in Congress have hurt the black community more than any other in this country, hence the need to racebait by his supporters like Mathews and his ilk in the leftist media to distract and rally Obama's base voters.
There is the true reason why they approached the shooting of a trespassing assaultive black youth by a white-hispanic neighborhood watchman in an act of self defense. They needed a distraction from the real issues, and also to rally the base. And reap the rewards, of course, for their sensationalizing of this case by hoped for improved ratings!
