In a Last Word web-exclusive, Newsweek's Michelle Goldberg explained "one of the most breathtakingly cynical things" about presidential candidate Mitt Romney. To Goldberg, it's not just that he used to be pro-choice, then changed his viewpoint. It's that he used to "quite movingly" invoke the name of relative who died of a botched abortion, then seemed to toss her aside "when it was no longer politically convenient."
She told The Last Word "it's not enough that he kind of used her death for political expediency, but then he suddenly decided that her death actually meant nothing at all." She questioned how this "searing" personal experience somehow got overridden by "an abstract conversation" with a scientist over stem cell research, who reportedly helped changed his mind.

Thank you, Michele for exposing Romney's hypocrisy. I knew Romney was Pro-Choice when running for Governor but did not know his relative's death due to a botched abortion was used during his campaign. Now that Romney is the Pro-Life Presidential Candidate this fact needs to be made known to voters. I love, love the Very Last Word videos & look forward to viewing them.
Wow, Thanks Michele the facts, video, and quotes, you used to expose Romney, they were AMAZING. My favorite reference was when you quoted, how did you put it, some pro-choice person. You should work for Larry, I mean if he is already using you as a fact reference you should be compensated for it right.
cate from boston if you go back to the video footage of when Romney sign the pro-choice bill into law in his state he states in his press conference that he was pro-life clear back then but as a representative of the people of his state he felt it was his responsibility to do their will. So he signed the bill instead of vetoing it.
To me that shows a man that will represent the people that serves instead of telling them what to do (obama care).
During his time in the Senate and while running for president, Obama received a total of $77,051 from the oil giant and is the top recipient of BP PAC and individual money over the past 20 years, according to financial disclosure records

He just does whatever he thinks is politically expedient. He loves to have people's approval, no matter what.
