Robert Zimmerman, brother of Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman, explained on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight that he does not trust the audio on the 911 tape of George Zimmerman calling Trayvon what sounded like a racial slur:
ZIMMERMAN: It does not exist as it exists. It is a reconditioned piece of audio to satisfy whatever you want anybody to hear in that tape... I don't believe that, first of all, that they're words. I don't think that when someone is running and making, you know, utterances, not necessarily words, but utterances from strain under their breath, you can take any of that-
MORGAN: But what do you believe he was saying?
ZIMMERMAN: I have no idea that he was even saying anything.
Exactly. Everyone knows you can't trust audio that has the volume turned up or has been passed through a machine! The only audio you should trust is audio at its original volume and directly from the mouth of the person who is saying the words. That's why I don't believe Taylor Swift is actually saying any of the lyrics on my Taylor Swift mix. I refuse to believe she is actually saying those words until she comes down to my office and sings them directly into my ear.
Until then, I have no choice but to assume those words were not sung by Taylor Swift, but by an angel.
And, according to Robert Zimmerman, that same logic should apply to all 911 tapes, even the ones that many believe feature Trayvon screaming for help, right?
MORGAN: Who was screaming there, Robert?
ZIMMERMAN: I know that that's George... I know that that's his voice. It sounds just like my voice. I mean, he's my brother. That's what I sound like if I yell.
Okay, now I get it: I can't trust that it's Taylor Swift singing on my Taylor Swift mix unless she's screaming the lyrics and I am her sister.

In Oklahoma last Tuesday, Bob and Nancy Strait, who had been married for 65 years, had their home broken into by a black teenager (Tyrone Woodfork) unarmed except for a BB gun. The teenager beat and raped the 85 year old Nancy Strait to death. Her husband, a veteran of the 101st Airborne in WW2, is in the hospital struggling to make it.
There will be no million hoodie march for Bob and Nancy, two mere white Americans. Their killer will have pro bono lawyers and innocence projects helping him until he's finally set free again.
Certainly Obama will make no statement on how Nancy Strait could have been his grandmother or how Bob Strait could have been that uncle who "liberated Auschwitz ". Mitt Romney did not pop up to call for a "thorough investigation", reminding us of why Santorum kinda had a point about him.
Bob and Nancy Strait won't get the screeching coverage that Trayvon Martin got about white racism because a Hispanic neighborhood watch captain shot a black teenager.
Does this make you all as mad as Trayvon's shooting? If not, why not?

That is not the audio tape that matters.... it is the audio tape that will be analyzed by the FBI lab to determine just who was pleading for help .... and my educated/psychic hunch is that it WAS NOT the one with the gun....
As the Sanford police have Zimmerman handcuffed, where is the murder weapon during this time. We don't see in the video anything that suggests that the police have possession of a weapon except a police officer putting something in the trunk. WHERE IS THE WEAPON NOW? And why aren't we hearing from the those who have been put in charge of investigating this matter?
I think the police did it. I am tired of hearing about all the posiiblities it was a bad thing that happened , why do't we here about the other people who were killed. Blacks kill each more than any other race.
The police have the weapon in evidence. You are not hearing from the investigators because there is nothing they can say that won't contribute to the problem. Investigators are not going to leak details of an ongoing investigation.
I'm curious about Mr. Zimmerman's lawyer. What kind of criminal defense attorney doesn't immediately meet, in person, with his client? So which interest group is paying this man? The NRA? A GOP lobbyist like Karl Rove? Based on his performance during his various media appearances, I wouldn't bet my life on this guy. Although my personal experience is limited to civil and environmental attorneys, he seemed very malpractice-y and not at all emotionally vested in his client.
I wonder about that as well. At first I thought maybe he was poser and really had nothing to do with the case. It's possible that his lawyer is not a criminal defense lawyer at all and merely represented him in some other matter.
Anyone in this family who has spoken out has shown themselves to be nothing but lying, delusional excuse makers. Half of the stuff this guy said didn't even make any sense at all, especially after having seen his brother in the police video. How can he say with anykind of straight face that if his brother had continued to have his head banged on the concrete he would be a vegetable, wearing a diaper being spoon fed. Is it any wonder that George has been getting into troulbe with the law all his life with a family like this bailing him out and covering for him?
I still want to see the phone records of Daddy Zimmerman , the Police Chief and the Prosecutor to find out why they both showed up at the police station that night.
Bottom line is that Trayvon Martin should not be dead. My heart goes out to the parents who have eloquently expressed their grief and honestly acted in pursuit of justice. I agree with them that Trayvon Martin is every parent's son. As for mitigating circumstances, whether George Zimmerman acted with malicious intent or in self-defense stems largely from who was yelling for help. Regardless, George Zimmerman does not appear to be an evil-minded enemy of black people. And least of all should he be treated as a scapegoat and sacrificial victim for black frustrations in America.
The so-called reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are shameless, self-serving ambulance chasers, and Spike Lee should be prosecuted for malicious endangerment. Lee's apology seems an empty gesture. The Trayvon Martin case is not a referendum on race relations in America. And those who in their official duties provide exculpatory information favorable to George Zimmerman are not cause-in-fact fairly labeled as willful liars and bigots.
