Mitt Romney won the Illinois Republican primary, according to NBC News projections. His victory in Obama's adopted home state could help the former Massachusetts governor start to silence critics within the Republican party. Illinois Republicans tend to be more moderate and less concerned about religion — factors that most likely tipped the scales in Romney's favor against the extreme social conservative Rick Santorum.

What is economic freedom? We can say that economic freedom is not to have a minimum wage which benefits the bosses instead of the worker. We can say that it is not capitalist system who have brought an unjust distribution of wealth. That is what we have now in the US. A system that have allowed the top 20% of the population control 94%% of the financial wealth of the country while the bottom 80% of the country competes for the rest 6% of the wealth.
If Mr. Romney is thinking that economic freedom is to have 80% of the population have no freedom at all economically then I see an America who has failed to be a nation. But has become a feudal state where 80% of the population is being financially persecuted by the few wealthiest. Here are some quote for those who likes them.
“Economic growth may one day turn out to be a curse rather than a good, and under no conditions can it either lead into freedom or constitute a proof for its existence.”
Hannah Arendt quotes (German born American Philosopher and Political scientist. 1906-1975)
“True individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence. People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.”
Franklin D. Roosevelt quotes (American 32nd US President (1933-45), cousin of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US president. 1882-1945)
“When we were told that by freedom we understood free enterprise, we did very little to dispel this monstrous falsehood. Wealth and economic well-being, we have asserted, are the fruits of freedom, while we should have been the first to know that this kind of ''happiness'' has been an unmixed blessing only in this country, and it is a minor blessing compared with the truly political freedoms, such as freedom of speech and thought, of assembly and association, even under the best conditions.”
Hannah Arendt quotes (German born American Philosopher and Political scientist. 1906-1975)
“The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it comes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group,”
Franklin D. Roosevelt quotes (American 32nd US President (1933-45), cousin of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US president. 1882-1945)
“No business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country”
Franklin D. Roosevelt quotes (American 32nd US President (1933-45), cousin of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US president. 1882-1945)
“The test of our progress is not whether we add to the abundance of those who have much. It is whether we provide enough to those who have little.”
Franklin D. Roosevelt quotes (American 32nd US President (1933-45), cousin of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US president. 1882-1945)
“Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidise it” (We got to get rid of Bush's subsidies)
Ronald Reagan quotes (American 40th US President (1981- 89), 1911-2004)
In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men the great difficulty lies in this: You must first enable the government to control the governed, and in the next place, oblige it to control itself.
Alexander Hamilton
In the main it will be found that a power over a man's support (salary) is a power over his will.
Alexander Hamilton That is what we have now in the US.
He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money.
Benjamin Franklin
I conceive that the great part of the miseries of mankind are brought upon them by false estimates they have made of the value of things.
Benjamin Franklin

Are we seeing the new Huntley/Brinkley of the 21st century?
Listening to that boy speak about the events that ended the life of a young man, breaks my heart. No child should be afraid of the law that is supposed to protect them. Here this boy, this witness already feels guilty when he probably would have gotten killed also. But the fear he has now, just because of the color of his skin makes my heart hurt and now I am emotional and can't stop crying. No child should be afraid like that.
There is something extremely wrong in this country. I was baptized as a Catholic, I had to stop being Catholic, I was Republican, stopped being Republican, I believed in some of the justice system, now I have stopped believing, I thought that racism was behind us, now I see differently. I see myself in the social media defending this country in other languages from those who say this country is a shame because of the injustices, the greediness and the lack of love for other peoples rights. Do I have to stop being an American? I am starting to think we are beyond help. We have gone to far in everything. The wealthy has no regard for those in need, not wanting to pay their share. Having the poor and middle class taxed more. Having no freedom financially and being economically persecuted by a system who has no regard for them. And now we have the homeless being beaten by a son of an officer of the law? Where is that Christianity they talk so much about? Where is they humanness?
You can help by just telling White people to stop being scared of everything and everybody who is different from themselves. They might actually listen to you.
