After a lot of chatter (most of it bad if you're Willard M. Romney), the 28-minute movie documentary mockumentary video "King of Bain: When Mitt Romney Came to Town" has finally hit the Internets. You can see the whole thing here, and there's a promise by the group behind it that it will be on YouTube soon. If you live in South Carolina, you'll start seeing parts of it in political ads tomorrow on a television near you.
The Romney campaign is pushing back hard on all the Bain-based attacks against their candidate.
For now, we can offer here on our blog a 3-minute preview of the video. Bankrolling it is the pro-Gingrich PAC, Winning Our Future.

Who would have thought the USA would elect our own Gordon Gekko to be President. Mitt is clearly the best with the phase GREED IS GOOD. Wonder what Iowa/NH voters think of being the first to vote Gordon Gekko/Mitt Romney as President. Just think Corporations will finally take over and Wall Street will get bonuses over the top and the taxpayers will continue to give that bailout money. You have to admit the meeting in New Jersey last summer sealed the deal with money as no problem. Mitt Romney would be the nominee and Gov. Christie would be his VP. All this campaigning is for the candidates to raise enough money to be included in the 1 per cent. Mitt will drag up his Mexican relatives to get the minority votes he will need and you can bet money will be given.
Yeah, I saw this a few days ago. I think it is accurate and effective. I think Newt and his money PAC are just as disgusting. All I can think when I see every GOP candidate is their GREED & EGO driven megalomania.
I have never once watched Obama speak and thought he is in it for himself. He truly is in it because he wants to make our country and world a better place. It is not about him, it is about us and it is clear as day in his eyes. Obama is filled with compassion and extreme intelligence. Obama IS taking us in the correct direction.
Seeing these true but hateful GOP "ads" just make me want to rally as many people as possible to make certain none of these GOP nut jobs get into office. Every one of them would take our country and world backwards into a truly awful place.
OMAMA 2012!!!!!
The last thing our country needs is a greedy capitalist president who would sell out our countries future to make a buck. If Romney does succeed in winning the presidential nomination, I hate to think what will happen to our already wounded nation. www.joshuatreecamping.org
I have watched the complete short film on Mitt Romney and all I can say is he might as well turn in his signs and go home. Mitt Romney is a corperate raider. he has made billions of dollars by putting others out of work. There is a great possibility that he is hiding billions overseas and should be investigated for tax evasion. Romney is far from being wothy of the office of President of the Unitd States. He may even be a criminal that needs to be in jail. He really needs to be run out of town or burned at the stake. There is good reason why he won't release his Tax statements. Mitt Romney is the straw that is going to break the camel's back. or better yet, the bain that is going to bring down the republican establishment.
..."You're going to be on a hit list, you know that..." Woman in the film, to her friend who dares to defy Wall Street McCarthyism. Now North America doesn't have Homeland Security, they have a slave trading, heroin selling, securitate - paid to destroy threats to the 1%.
Romney does not have the support needed to win the presidency. The mistake the conservatives are making is by dividing the conservative vote. That same mistake is being made by the voters themselves. In a winner take all primary the voters need to get behind one candidate. If Gingrich, Perry and Santorum were to throw their support behind Ron Paul, Romney would not stand a chance. Divided we fall .... too true!
Minx, to your comment about this being the proverbial "straw that breaks the camel's back", I would say, yes, it should be, with probably about a hundred others! Obama and the Democrats should win easily in '12, but because of the right-wing media machine--and much of the so-called "mainstream" media-- it will appear to many, many low-information voters that the big lie about this being a "center-right (or farther right than that)" country is no lie at all. If the Dems don't attack, attack, attack in addition to moving aggressively for what's been right all along (their enormous mistake from '09 to the present), then this evil mutation of what used to at least be a respectable Republican party will be allowed to hang around, and sooner or later, once more gain some measure of power. The cancer must be kicked and eradicated when it's down--and the kind of stuff Mitt Romney and others stand for (if they really stand for anything) is a national cancer.
This is one of those times in our country's history when we need true liberals running things (with some conservative types serving as watchdogs), in the tradition of Jefferson. Wilson (both FDR's and Reagan's hero), either of the Roosevelts, Truman, or for that matter, Eisenhower (a self-described "very liberal Republican'). Can anyone--any white person, at least (but that's another story)--seriously argue that those were some of the healthiest times this country has ever had?
The same people who spout that this country must be a free market capitalist economy(set aside the tax breaks and subsidies they receive basically because they are rewarding the elected representatives that are supposed to be serving all the people), at the same time say, we must a nation with strong family values. What is a more socialist unit than a family? Our country is becoming what most of the people who came to our country came here to escape. A Kings and Serfs population. Voting for Mitt Romney will hasten the day that occurs.
