I am very concerned and sick and tired of the Republican candidates taking cheap pot shots at Black Americans and degrading them by their comments and generalizing a whole race of people for a few. Newt Gingrich’s comments are especially infuriating. Somehow I am not surprised to see such an obvious Republican bigot such as Newt Gingrich has revealed himself to be running for the presidency. I do not need a red neck like Newt coming into my community trying to set a work standard for me. I would expect him to wear his white hood and sheet and be the KKK member that he obviously is.

He meansthe black community no good with the degrading comments he is making under the guise of trying to help. He should stop pretending he is trying to help. He should come right out of the closet and be what he really is, an honorary member of the KKK hiding behind the Republican party. Words cannot describe how this has infuriated me. I can no longer set back and be silent. He will do anything to get the nomination.

I highly resent his insulting an entire race of people in an attempt to appeal to the extreme right wing Republicans and Tea Partiers at the expense of every decent, hard working Black Americans. I am a black American from a small town in west Texas. My father worked all his life since he was a child. He worked 36 years on a full time job and during those same years after work he farmed our land, planted crops and raised live stock. He found odd jobs around the community repairing homes and other jobs after he got off at 5:00PM to help make ends meet.

My father told me his bosses had him train white men out of high school to be supervisors but they would never promote him to supervisor because he was black nor pay him the same wages. I have worked since I was 13 years old and am still working. I will be 65 this year. My two daughters started working while they were in high school at the age of 16. My mother worked from the age of 9 washing dishes in white people’s home to help her mother and siblings after her father died. Her bothers worked all their lives. She worked until she was 75 years old. My mother was the valedictorian of her graduating class. My brother has written 4 books. Should we have been cleaning toilets?

I personally challenge Newt Gingrich to a debate any time of day or night on Black ethics vs White ethics and the history of racism in American right up to today and right into his latest asinine statement and why he is saying these things. I don’t think he has the guts to. Let me take that back. We can all clearly see he definitely has the guts and more to. I should say I don’t think he has the nerve to.

My father never took welfare and neither have I. I brought my children up to understand they had to work. They have never been on welfare or food stamps. My son-in-law is 30 years old and has worked since he was in his teens. My siblings worked until they retired. We all excelled in academics, were on the honor rolls, were skipped grades in school because of being smarter than our grade level and in the top 25 of our graduating class all the way to salutatorian. Nobody has ever given me anything. By the grace of God I have worked for everything I have ever had. Work ethics are not exclusive to Whites but to millions of other Americans as well. Still the majority of welfare and food stamp recipients are White. I don’t hear Newt or Rick saying anything about that.

Every family I knew worked and raised their children in the same manner and ethics as mine. Black Americans have always worked. I have to say Black Americans because that is the only race I hear these Republican candidates targeting. They do this because they know that it is popular and appealing to the right wing conservatives and other losers in this socient that are looking for an excuse for their personal failures. There are millions of Black Americans with the same story and work ethic as mine. Whose families have worked for generations coming out of slavery when we were forced to work with no pay. Then black farmers who were either cheated out of their land or driven out because white merchants wouldn’t pay them the same thing for their crops that they would pay the white farmers. Not to mention the millions of Blacks that were held back from having access to the basic advantages of this society for no other reason except the color of their skin.

Many people, not just black, but I am focusing on blacks because they are the ones Newt and Rick seem to have a problem with, want to work but either cannot find jobs due to the economy or because the hiring majority will hire people of their own color or any other color before hiring a black person. Then when they do hire them they promote white employees first practicing a form of subtle racism then say ‘ there is no more racism in America’. Knowing they practice it every day.

When I was a young child my father told me he was in Abilene when Price Daniel was running for governor and by accident happened upon a rally where he heard Price Daniel tell the audience that if he was elected governor he would ‘Keep the @!$%#s down’. My father explained to me that is the underling agenda of the Republican party. That the Republican party means me no good and that I should never vote Republican. From that day on I vowed to never vote Republican.

Here we are today in the 21^st century and I hear Newt and Rick Santorum doing the same thing Price Daniel did. It seems to me that Newt and Rick felt they had to let their white constituents know that they will carry on the Republican legacy to ‘keep the @!$%#s down’. It doesn’t matter whether we are decent, God fearing hard working American citizens or not. . They negate all of that out by accusing all Blacks of taking food stamps and wanting hand outs. This reminds me of the movies in the early days of cinema when White directors characterized all blacks as being shiftless and lazy and a certain segment of this society bought into that and believed it. This is what Newt and Rick are doing today with the stabs they are taking at Black Americans. Appealing to the emotions of the right wing conservatives telling them what they want to hear.

Again the majority of American Citizens on both of the social programs are white. Newt’s suggestion that poor children clean toilets, I take toilets to mean commodes, is a slap in the face and insult to every poor American regardless of race creed or color. Relegating children to cleaning commodes where fat cats like him are setting their fat dirty behinds. I could very easily play the race card here because I firmly believe that was Newt’s coded message to his constituents that he will be hard on black children. But I won’t do that. It is more than race here. He is promoting class discrimination based. Which appear to be another agenda of the Republican party.,

Newt is obviously desperate and willing to stoop to the lowest levels of hell if he think he can get a vote. He took the lead this time from Rick Santorum’s snide remarks about not giving black hand outs. Now he is running with the opportunity to let the conservatives know just how conservative he really is and that he will go to any extreme to prove it.

I am disgusted and at this point I don’t want to hear anything these Republican candidates have to say because I have to believe from what I am hearing are race and class haters and don’t want anyone to have anything but themselves and other rich people. This country was built on the backs of and with the blood, sweat and tears of poor blacks and poor Americans.

Black men volunteered to fight and died in all the wars this country has ever been in and still the White Americans did not want to let them be men. Including the civil war. America sent a delegation to France in the ‘40s to ask them to not reward and treat blacks soldiers like whites soldiers because they didn’t want them to think when they came back to American they would get the same treatment. It would give a bad impression. This is after the black soldiers proved themselves to be heroes and men who fought and died for that country.

Unfortunately racism is inherent in the hearts of many white Americans, not all of them because I refuse to generalize and degrade a race of people because of the bad behavior of a few. If it is one thing white racist don’t want other whites to think is that they are ‘@!$%# lovers’. Newt, Rick and Ron Paul, if he wrote or supported those articles in his newsletter from the 90s, are perfect examples of this.

I challenge Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum to an open debate on black and white race relations in American. I will take either one or both of them on any day any time. Both at the same time or one at a time. They make these sneaky asinine remarks, Rick is denying he said ‘blacks’, to audiences they perceive are of the same mind as they where they are safe. Not to an audience where they will be challenged by right thinking people. It is evident Newt nor Rick know nothing about Black Americans as a people because all they are spouting are popular racist rhetoric geared to incite and impress conservative Republicans, Tea Partiers and other race haters. All for the sake of getting a vote. Sickening indeed! I will gladly take this fat man on. Apparently he has fat on the brains if he think he can continue to say the things he is saying and get away with it.

There are millions of hard working minorities in America, Newt, with much cleaner better morals than you have proven to have. There are millions of blacks not on welfare and not taking government handouts that to go work every day and support their families. How can these candidates say that if elected they will be a President of the people, by the people and for the people. They can’t say that because they won’t and they don’t want anyone else to be either. That’s why they hate President Barack Obama and anybody else that want to do something for the working class people of America. Certainly not for blacks that have been the victims of organized, government supported racism throughout the history of America. Now we have the likes of undesirables like Newt, a president want-a-be, stabbing us in the back to further his political career.

Divide and conquer works well on their base,as does fear mongering and lying.

What I don't understand is how black men like Michael Steele, Herman Cain and several others of the Republican party can just sit there and listen to this stuff spew out of these candidates and not say a word. I see them on the MSNBC shows all the time and it seems like they just follow the same old party line. I don't know what the Reps have promised them, but it must be pretty good for them to ignore the blistering attacks on their own race. What they don't realize is that when the Reps are through using them they will get thrown on the scrap heap, too.

When a news organization distorts the truth for reason's of ideology, it can no longer be considered a reliable news source.
Fox news is now calling the cuts to the military The "Obama Cuts" when the truth is the cuts came as a default when the super committee could not agree on what to cut from the budget. Perhaps this is the reason a study shows people who watch only FOX news know less than people who do not watch any news at all.

Well, one hasn't lived until they are the "stupid cow" for the most ridiculed of the corporate criminal profiteering's lepers. GOP death race of idiots, plain and simple - the circus show willing to cash in on the skeletal remains of America, while Goliath sloughs his skin. It is in their interest to distract from that, by manipulating base cultural moray, like a securitate war criminal, conducts ethnic cleansing of the Indians in Canada.

Once again the worse campaign coverage award goes to the political hacks at MSNBC. Lawrence O'Donnell gets the First Place trophy for being wrong once again. He can't stop making statements and predictions that are wrong. First he tried to dump on Romney for not getting more than 35% when he ended up with 39-40% and then he said he wouldn't even get as many votes as he did in 2008 (75,000) and he got approximately 98,000 along with O'Donnell's normal Left-wing rants. Can't wait until O'Donnell joins his failed buddies at Current TV. I'm still laughing from when he repeatedly said Arnold Swarzenegger would never become Governor of California, and O'Donnell hasn't been right since.

It was in 2007 when the crowds at the GOP debates booed Ron Paul that drove me to vote for Obama.

If I continue to see negative demeaning comments about Dr Paul on MSNBC, I will move my vote back from Obama to the gop. He promised to leave Iraq. It was the only reason I needed to vote for him..now that we have left...I am up for grabs.

Ignore and demean Dr Paul at your own peril.
