Jon Bon Jovi is still living on a prayer. Key word: living. Despite today's widespread Internet rumors to the contrary, the New Jersey rock legend is alive and well. This picture was posted to the rock god's Facebook wall as proof of his existence among us lowly mortals on Earth. It includes a time-stamp with today's date as further proof.

Kim Jong Il was not as lucky.

    You know, there are days when I really love The Last Word, and this is one of them.

    Thanks to Lawrence O'Donnell for taking a moment to remember Vaclav Havel. That man was a giant. And as a writer, I admire Havel for being that rarest of all creatures: a political figure who could also, really, write.
