Ginger White said Thursday she was "deeply sorry" for any pain she might have caused Gloria Cain or her family. The Atlanta woman, who alleged carrying on a 13-year affair with presidential candidate Herman Cain, made the apology during an exclusive interview with MSNBC's Lawrence O’Donnell.
"My heart bleeds for this woman because I am a woman and being in a situation like this cannot be fun. And I am deeply, deeply sorry if I have caused any hurt to her and to his kids, to his family," said White, a mother of two. "I never wanted to hurt anyone and I'm deeply sorry."
When initially asked if she had a message for Cain's wife, she replied "no comment." White said that's the first time she was ever asked that question, and it took her "aback."
White described Cain as an "intelligent" and "fun-loving" guy, and said their relationship offered her a "getaway" from the normal "hustle and bustle" of daily life. "It wasn't a love affair. It was a sexual affair," she clarified.
According to White, the presidential candidate gave her cash payments during their relationship, though she declined to give the exact amount to MSNBC.
White also said she did not take any money to come forward with her story. "This has never been political," she said. "This has been a very, very difficult situation for me, for my family, his family. It's been very tough."
In an interview with New Hampshire's Union Leader on Thursday, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO acknowledged sending White money for "month-to-month bills and expenses." He also said his wife was not aware of this "friendship."
White insisted she is telling the truth about the sexual relationship with Cain and revealed phone records from communication with Cain over the past few months.
Their relationship began in Louisville, Kentucky back in the late 1990s.

Amazing how the press can come up with this story on such a public figure at this point in Cains life. A 13 year affair? I'm sure no checks were issued to get anyone to spill the beans on this alleged affair but cash......................another story. Lets keep it honost on both sides.
If the truth be told there is not one person running for president (including the sitting president) that is worthy of the job. The fact is what few men and women we have that would make a good/great President has enough sense not to want the thankless job. This is what we are stuck with. People who are power hungry, that will lie, stab you in the back, change positions on the drop of a hat if it meant 1 more vote. So go ahead and argue-I don't have the time or energy for these jokers.

While I don't blame the partisan hacks at MSNBC going into this story, one has to wonder why they did not go into such depth about Barack Obama's associations with individuals like Rev Wright and Bill Ayers or the political leanings of his tsars, like Van Jones. It seems to me that those relationships are much more important to look at in depth than Mr Cain's alleged affair. Obama's ties to extremist like Ayers, Wright and ACORN reflect much more upon his political outlook than Mr. Cain's alleged affair. But I guess the only thing that matters to the hacks at MSNBC is whether or not the individual they do the hack job on has a (R) or a (D) next to his or her name. You can be damn sure if this story was about Obama it would take them weeks to get around to even mentioning it, let alone asking for any details. And all the while they would be claiming it was false or irrelevant. There are no journalist at MSNBC, just partisan hacks shilling for the left. What a sad excuse for a major media outlet to promote such lopsided nonsense and try to pass it off as journalism.
When can we expect to see some investigative reporting from MSNBC on the Solyndra scandal or Eric Holder's involvement in the Fast and Furious scandal that led to the deaths of a border patrol agent and many innocent Mexican civilians?

I w3onder what the magic number was to "come forward" at this particular time? It's always about money and this is no different. Somebody felt that Cain was a high risk to Obama and took the checkbook out and made an offer she could not refuse. We see it all the time. Why wait til now to come forward? 13 YEARS!? She will get money and this will end Cain's run. I wonder if Clinton had "friends" before he ran? Or Obama? We will never know because they were and are protected by the media and those who control the same. God save us all.
BTW, if this story was about Obama the idiots at MSNBC (you know the ones the put on every night between 7 and 11) would be screaming racism from the get go. And it would be so loud and fast that it would drown out anything else.. But they don't play the race card when it is about a conservative.

One of the best TV interviews ever! Great job Mr O'Donnell. I was touched by Ginger White's response to your questions. She sounded very sincere and remorseful. They were touching, heart breaking answers to your questions. You made her answer the questions in my mind too! Later on, I got to thinking that Herman Cain used his power and money to seduce this woman. Not that she does not share this travesty of human proper behavior but I guess the mixture of hormones and money have a lot to do with it too.

Put yourself in her shoes. Thirteen years she was his confiding paramore. Then he decides to run for President. So instead of just being more discrete he drops her and worse she no longer gets any bill paying cash. So she is suddendly, after 13 years, left to fend for herself while he is off to successes completely without her. Hell hath no.....

I know of some cases of men who have stayed with their wives but went on to live with another woman they loved to not break up the family?
