Aussie marriage equality ad goes viral

This beautifully done first-person ad from the Australian group GetUp!, has been making the rounds on the Internets over the Thanksgiving weekend. It documents the lives of two people who become a committed couple with a heart-warming story and a very clever reveal at the end of the ad.

This ad is absolutely beautiful. I have watched it several times over the weekend and each time I got teary-eyed. I wished we had such an ad on German TV. However, I think it's a real shame that marriage equality ads are still necessary in the Western world. Equal rights should be a given in a modern country.
