As we near day three of the Herman Cain sex scandal, one of the alleged victims reportedly wants to come forward. The lawyer for one of the woman who accused the GOP frontrunner of sexual harassment confirmed her desire to speak out, but noted the client is currently bound by a confidentiality agreement. Unless that get lifted, she's allowed to say zilch.
Cain denied any wrong-doing. But, he's got another scandal to worry about.
Questions over alleged campaign finance violations haven't received as much attention, but it carries the potential to tarnish the campaign.
Cain told a conservative radio host today he authorized a "full investigation" into whether his campaign illegally took nearly $40,000 from a non-profit co-founded by Cain's chief of staff Mark Block (the same guy smoking in his ad).
"If there were any improprieties, we will go back and amend the FEC report," Cain said. "I will make sure that we let you know exactly what we found out and, if there are any improprieties, we will correct them."
It's not all shabby for the Cain camp — turns out scandals have been good for business. The campaign said it had its best online fundraising day yet, pulling in more than $400,000 in a 24-hour period.

Cain is done with. There will be no more Cain, unless of course, the GOP when it is one of their own who commits a crime (sexual harassment is a crime), it is OK and they dismiss it. But this is not like Wiener that just sent photos of himself and there was no damage to others but to himself. But we Democrats have a high moral standard. Cain will not even get a slap on his wrist. Just like Clarence Thomas. Nothing wrong to sexually harass someone "just pay them and tell them and take away their right to shout it". Typical GOP behavior!!!
Instead of Herman, he should use the moniker, "Sugar", that's it!

Luv you, but very disappointed that you let Brokaw get away with, "Why can't the two parties get along" crap. We know you know the answer to that. Limbaugh take down was great, but that was easy. Please have courage in the face of the venerated as well.

Brokaw with his centrist comments about how we need to embrace right wing ideas and the false equivalency between the power and the powerless and Brian Williams who used paid war profiteers who directly profit from the war in Iraq to go on his show to advocate for invasion. Yes, NBC, with "men of the people" like Brokaw and Williams, you actually are part of the face of what OWS calls the 1%. We don't care to hear about the Republican primary.... it is irrelavant.. none of them will be elected. What IS the point is the corporate centered viewpoints of this White House which appoints Wall Street Investment Bankers to regulate the financial industry, floods money to banks through a combination of TARP and low interest rates at the discount window, refuses to prosecute individuals who knowingly engineered the last false economic bubble, and then puts social programs for the poor up on the chopping block. The disconnect between what is today's Democratic party - represented by this adminstration - and the rest of the peope IS the story. Get on it, or watch yourselves continue to errode in relevance.

But wait, she told her lawyer Cain is lying, her lawyer told the press Cain is lying. How is this abiding by the confidentiality agreement? You've already violated the agreement, please just get your blood money from the press and tell your side of the story and STOP pretending like you've honored your agreement to try and lend credence to your side of the story. You're dragging this out to get as much press (and money) as possible on top of what you've already received.
