Jumping on the Occupy Wall Street movement, MTV announced new programming efforts to documents the lives of twentysomethings in Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park.
MTV’s documentary series True Life plans to air a special episode, “I’m Occupying Wall Street,” on November 5. Cameras followed three young-ish demonstrators over a two-week period who, as MTV described, “get swept up in the political movement that has quickly grown into a global phenomenon.”
A more extended look at the Occupy Wall Street movement is also on the horizon. Last week, the production company that produces Real Word series, Bunim/Murray, posted an ad on Craigslist looking for cast members. (“This is the true story of eight strangers picked to live in a park.”)
Now if only Radiohead had actually played, the channel could have aired a real live music video for a change.

TEA Party
TEA Partiers don't care about the Truth.
They simply want to see Obama fall.
Don't care about his birthplace or his youth;
They hate the fact that he exists at all.
They think the poor are filthy, lazy blighters
Who don't deserve to live upon the dole,
And unions - teachers, cops and firefighters -
Have picking rich men's pockets as their goal.
Their propaganda machine, known as FOX,
Thrives on the fuel of lies and innuendo.
They'd love to open up Pandora's Box,
And watch the world collapse in cruel crescendo.
The Golden Rule they live by is for fools.
"Whoever has the Gold, he makes the Rules."
99%
The Ninety-Nine-Percenters have declared
Their goal to bring the rescue of our Nation.
The Wall Street gamblers fail to see they've erred
And brought them to their knees in desperation.
Their protests swiftly spread from town to town,
Arousing rage at those whose fortunes soared.
Police brutality failed to hold them down,
And made martyrs whose cries won't be ignored.
Their phones and cameras all record the trauma
Of how these thoughtless misers bring their ruin.
But they forget, the press will show the drama;
The ones who pay the piper call the tune.
Their foolish candidates fail to see the farce;
The White House AND the Congress will be ours!
Puppets
The wealthy do not think the middle class
Deserve the simple privilege of a bill.
They want to hold them down en masse
So they can serve the puppet master's will.
Republicans must sign the Norquist pledge
To forestall any raise in revenues.
They'd want to lead the country to the edge
Of Depression-era depths so we would lose.
They do not know their leaders would abandon
Them, once they start to reason for themselves.
The puppeteer won't keep the puppet dancin'
With its own mind; he'd just put it on the shelves.
A pity that Republicans must choose
'Tween Romney and the seven Dwarves, who'll lose...
Cain
So Herman Cain believes that he's a winner;
He'll show Obama where to find the door!
I'd have to say this man's a greedy sinner
Who's 'simple' tax plan devastates the poor.
He likes to view himself as the 'Godfather'
And killing illegal aliens as a 'joke'.
The jobless of the nation aren't worth the bother
His basic loyalties lie with the Brothers Koch.
His sales tax would only apply to what is new,
So let's see him recycle someone's dinner.
And meanwhile taxes plummet for the few
who'd buy the presidency for this 'winner'
Electing this man to high office is the jest;
The world would laugh at who we'd pick as 'best'..
Wealth
The unions give the working people voice
When those who'd keep them silent, keep them down,
Have the money, have the power, have the choice
To give the governors means to push them around.
With Super-pacs to hide how much they're giving,
They have no reins to keep their wealth at bay.
They have the means to keep us all from living
With government that listens to what we say.
We have to battle back with those who'd fight
Those men who want to rule with iron fist.
They'd buy our government and steal our right
To choose our future, to struggle, to resist.
If we don't fight to keep the right to choose,
Then wealthy men will determine who will lose.
Your 'Progressive' education has taught you well, so well that you express 'Progressive Propaganda' with such poetic skills one could forgot how such people like yourself have been so indoctrinated and have lost their ability to be 'objective', repeating progressive propaganda with such ease and poetry....sad..so sad...but a well written piece of progressive propaganda...great job...but you are only fooling yourself.
Bunch of malcontent losers playing the drums, getting high, and throwing things a the cops. I wonder if there is enough room at Gitmo for them. ALL of them.
What most Americans are overlooking on these phoney non-violent protests from the indoctrinated minions known as 'progressives' within the OWS movement is how they believe the 'right' ('Tea Party Movement') should ALL behave themselves at ALL times while the 'left' ('OWS Movement) gets to act out with violence pretending and denying such violence exists....wow what nerve of these ingrates..
These seditious progressive democrats protesting around the nation against our republican form of government are such hypocrites, but they will never admit to their 'hypocrisy' to their political foes...never!
Let's COMPARE OWS to TEA PARTY....
Days of Protest 40 - 989
Arrests 2,511 - 0
Rapes 4 - 0
Cost $2,400,000 - 0
Yep, the OWS movement is sooooooooo much like the 'Tea Party Movement'.....NOT!
