Where are the current Republican candidates for president getting their ideas?
Ron Paul has said we have so many laws that our freedom and liberty are being taken away and that you can now break a law without even knowing you've done so. Earlier this week, he told an audience that he doesn't think banning marijuana is the government's business.
The other candidates have all sorts of new ideas for how we should tax people. Herman Cain has 999, Michele Bachmann said at one debate she thinks no one should pay any taxes and Newt Gingrich wants to eliminate capitol gains taxes. Where are they getting this from?
Ab-Fab's Eddy Monsoon might agree with the Republicans this time around but, unfortunately for them, she's still very very British so she's not eligible to vote.

ADVICE-Lawrence-rename your show, "@!$%#ting on the GOP with Lawrence O'Donnell" that will get a lot of viewers (even I'll stay up)
Or if all else fails, retire and call it, "@!$%#ting on Liberals with Christine wacko O'Donnell and Sarah dumbass Palin. That would be a show there. MSNBC- ratings through the roof. Sorry Lawrence, but that WOULD outshine you (not fairly though)
Tax the stupid, and by STUPId i mean REPUBLICANS. > who got us in this damned mess in the first place.
Ron Paul is right. Banning marijuana shouldn't be the government's business.
I've never used marijuana, and don't think I ever will because I think it would be bad for me. When family members or friends have used marijuana, i've urged them to stop, sometimes with success, othertimes, not.
If I felt really strongly about the issue, i'd join together with like-minded people and produce a public adovacy campaign that demonstrated why using marijuana was a bad idea.
We spend far more time, effort and other resources on the consequences that come from prohibition of marijuana, then if it wasn't banned in the first place.
I belive we should treat drug addictions and drug use as health issues rather than as a criminal issues.
"capitAl" not "capitOl"
Paul's getting it from the WWII Campaign, for one thing: we would have lost WWII to the Nazis, if we hadn't grown one million acres of "Marihuana", in the USA. Though the Govt denied and lied officially about this for more than 50 years following, thanks to people like Paul, the Govt now officially admits that "Marihuana" was needed to sew all of our military's backpacks, shoes, boots, firehoses, parachutes, and other tackle and gear, plus "Marihuana" was used to manufacture munitions, including dynamite, and also lubricated engines of our tanks and aircraft...
America was founded on "Marihuana" - it's just that the word wasn't heard of until it was mandated that the US Constitution and all other things CANNABIS SATIVA be forevermore defined as, "Marihuana".
"Marihuana" makes more and better paper than trees, and better fuel than gas or diesel - running circles around corn and all else bio-based. Buy "Marihuana" foods at grocers everywhere - like HempMilk - since it is the most nutritious vegetable on Earth! Look up the word, "Canvas", in any dictionary - and then support legislation that would mandate Capitol Punishment for any public attempt to outlaw the very substance of our US Constitution and Bill of Rights: Cannabis pulp and fiber....

Today, thanks to Paul and others, we can buy Cannabis Sativa food products in stores everywhere, because it is the most nutritious vegetable on Earth - like HempMilk...
Look up the word, "Canvas" in any dictionary - it must be pure Cannabis, which is ten times stronger than cotton...

Look at "Marihuana" plastic products, and the composites also used in todays BMW's and Mercedes, etc.
Educate yourself, your history teachers' own professors, and lobby Congress to legislate Capitol Punishment for any convicted attempt to outlaw the very substance of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, itself - "Marihuana" pulp and fiber!
