Herman Cain stole the thunder from Michele Bachmann as the far-right, Anti-Mitt Romney, tea party fave in the Republican presidential primary. With lagging poll numbers, she's now hitting the pavement in Iowa in an attempt to regain her mojo with GOP voters. Yesterday, she even held a teleconference town hall with The Donald, desperately seeking donations and attention.
Bachmann has been firing back at naysayers — including Ed Rollins, her former campaign manager and tonight's guest on The Last Word. The Congresswoman expressed disappointment at his comments saying she's not ready to go the distance all the way to the White House.
"When it comes to personnel issues, I act professionally and respectful of former employees. I just assume that's a two-way street. It's disappointing when it's not," Bachmann told a reporter over the weekend. "I guess I should have done that Google search." A coy response to what the The New York Times described as Rollins' "history of speaking sharply about candidates who once employed him."
Rollins shot back, "Well, if I would have Googled her, I would have found out she had six chiefs of staff in five years." Snap!
Though these days, isn't that the first thing you do when you either hire or work for someone? This is the 2011 job market, baby. And clean up those questionable pics on Facebook while you're at it.
After bailing from the job in September, Rollins practically declared her campaign dead due to lack of funds — unless "she somehow for some reason could win Iowa than she could get another look."
At least no one Googled "Santorum."

I do not believe that her performance at tonight's debate helped her cause any.
'Michele, trying giving a direct answer to a direct question for once.'
It's a rarity that I feel compelled to publicly comment on any political opinion piece on any network, being that the stupidity on all sides is so rife, that breaking the ice might burst the dam and begin occupying my every waking hour. However, when I saw Melissa Harris-Perry, (a tenured professor of political science), say, on The Last Word, that there was no constitutional right for an individual citizen to engage in a commercial transaction, this level of exemplification of the dangers of affording someone the privilege of being educated beyond their intelligence cannot go unanswered. If Ms. Perry was correct, that (voting) is a citizen's right, but engaging in a commercial, or financial, transaction is not. She just threw out all Constitutional justification for all the civil rights legislation that has been passed in my lifetime. Apparently the woman has never heard of the commerce clause of the U.S. Constitution.
Rollins can't bring the price of gas down either! Lotsa wind around the Lindsey ivory tower! But has me wondering what the commerce clause of US Constitution will have to do with this up coming pot vote in CA http://regulatemarijuanalikewine.com/
Isn't there any nice cops on the other side of the Rockies? The cops seemed alot nicer in that 1979 NYC clip you all posted. The more money they have to defend in NYC, the meaner they get? The NYC protesters don't make a point to be friendly to cops either? The leader (yep there was one of those) at the local Occupy protest march out here actually instructed us to SMILE AT COPS. The about 200 people march didn't see a single cop. Later down the same streets, an anti abortion march had about 10 motorcycle cops as escorts!
