With the Republican caucuses and primaries just around the corner, it won't be long until (depending on where you live) your television viewing experiences will be cluttered with political ad after political ad. It's one of the many reasons the DVR was invented.
But if political ads were all more like these fake ones done by our 30 Rock colleague Jimmy Fallon last night, I'd think twice before hitting that fast forward button.

Let me get this straight, 999= 9% corporate tax, 9% income tax, and 9% consumer tax. All fine and good in a perfect world but we do not live in a perfect world. In the real world corporations and businesses always pass on any added taxes, tarrifs, fees etc. So for example that $1.00 "widget" you purchased today, under the 999 plan the corporation would figure in the projected 9% corporate tax, and the 9% consumer tax ( paid to others for the ingredients or materials needed to make their product ). Now you pay a 9% consumer tax on the end product. Basic math tells me that you pay $1.27 for this widget because the adjusted price will reflect all costs to the manufacturer of this product. Replace the $1.00 widget with an automobile, the problem is compounded. No matter what you would purchase you would absorb most if not all of the 27% tax.
there are a million millionaires in America and there are 360 billionaires in America and Bill Clinton said we don't need to tax the rich, who is he working for?
especially since they are making more money than ever, and WHERE ARE THE JOBS that the rich are supposed to be creating?
Rush is the epitome of someone with such evil intentions. Lawrence Odonnell tells the truth of the matter. I am so glad for the shows on MSNBC that debunk the lies of Fox.
