All that you need to see from last night's debate before tonight's analysis on The Last Word
Last night the Republican presidential candidates met for yet another debate (yes, really). I know a lot you didn't see it because it was on another network you were still sated from the amazingness that was last week's NBC News/POLITICO Republican Debate (see highlights here). In fact, viewership for last night's debate was down considerably from that debate last week.
So in case you missed it, the fine folks at BuzzFeed have given us the 75 second version. Lawrence will also have plenty to say about the debate on tonight's edition of The Last Word.

Perry can do the math in half of 0? That's amazing..
Lawrence O'Donnell, thank you for your support of the Obama Administration. You are a very fair journalist. I enjoy your program and don't miss it. You are a breath of fresh air. Some of your colleagues, like Joe Scarbrough, however, needs to go on over to FOX where he will be welcomed. MSNBC made a wise choice with you.
Why don't we raise the stakes on the HPV discussion? If there was a vaccine for HIV/AIDS -- one of the deadliest plagues in history, should we / or should we not make it part of routine immunizations for ALL people? I am not a fan of Perry or Bachmann, but we need an intelligent discussion about trying to prevent cancer and communicable diseases that does not involve moralizing. Note that people do not always get HIV/AIDS or HPV by choice or by being immoral, bad people. Many people have it given by their partners. We hope this is not intentional, but that happens too. Approx of 1/2 of all new HIV cases are women. How about also making HIV tests routine for all yearly exams and visits to the emergency room. Just offer it to people, it is simple and easy. People need to know their status and get treatment immediately and protect themselves and their partners.
I'll sum it up quickly. I hate you, and you hate me. Lets make things up, and cover up our lies. Then attack each other for their own hypocrisy. With all the mud flying, no one can see the truth, or the candidate. It's the old "Don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain" routine. Besides that Debate was set up by the Tea Party to make them look good, and their chosen candidates. No one else had a chance.
