The days of hiding under the Mittness Protection Program are over. Willard M. Romney faced off with an unruly crowd today at the Iowa State Fair.
One heckler repeatedly shouted at the former Massachusetts governor, demanding to know how he would strengthen programs like Social Security and Medicare. Once Romney could get a word in, he finally yelled, "If you don’t like my answer, you can go vote for someone else!"
In the same speech, he also told the crowd "corporations are people, my friend" — a soundbite destined to haunt his campaign.

this was very amusing to watch. almost as fun as sarah palin's history and english lessons.
The Republlicans thoughht it was fun to interupt the Democratic town hall meetings to explain the health care bill but it is entirely different when the tables are turned.
You sure these aren't "plants". Not that I ever assumed all Iowans were insane. But, this is like if "Parry" gave a speech in Fort Worth and everyone in the audience knew the precise percentage drop in the GNP since the Republicans retook the House.
Not that I'm complaining, to the contrary, I love it. Now, if the people will rise up against Bachman's Banshees and Perry's Prophets, I will be ecstatic.

If corporations are people, they can file a 1040 and pay taxes on their income, minus the standard deduction. Just like actual people do.
Romney won't do one thing to strenghten Social Security or Medicare. He will destroy it just like Paul Ryan want them too.
I'm wondering how his handlers allowed him to step into this nest of hornets, considering his mittness protection program and all. Maybe these hornets are everywhere and he simply can't avoid them.
Those of you wanting evidence of Mitt's "plastic image" need only look no further than the current hype he was a "venture capitalist" with Bain Capital. I promise he didn't make his money finding little investment acorns and growing them into mighty oak trees. He was a corporate raider whose company would spot "troubled opportunities" and acquire their assets and operations. Ruthless cost-cutting and pruning of employees would follow, and the results would be sold at a profit. Slash-and-burn Republicanism at its finest...
And yes, he did a bang-up job with the Olympics here (although locals were aghast when he was once caught using an "f-bomb" in public), but he basically inherited a solid structure plagued by the Olympic Bribery Scandal, and the volunteers--and the pre-dominant religion--were behind his actions a hundredfold. Easy to look good in those circumstances...
Good old Mitt made out like a bandit on those Bain deals...11 million in two years! No wonder he has a 14 milion dollar house in NH. Plus how many more?
If he gets nominated, expect the well-deserved attack ads debunking his oft-repeated claim "I know how to create jobs."

OK, if it offends you to call you a nut, I'll just say you're disturbed and need psychological help. Why are you so offended by living in a nation that is striving to remain a free nation for the people? It's not everything we want it to be, but have you ever lived in a socialist/marxist nation before? I wouldn't wish it on you, but I think you need to learn a little more about it before you make up your mind it's a good society to live in. Have you ever heard of anyone trying to escape from the USA and go to Russia. You may be able to leave this country, but if you lived in Cuba more than likely you would have to become a defector in order to leave that country and that means they wouldn't let you go anywhere and they control your life from the time you're born until the day you die and if you try to defect that may come sooner than you would prefer. Look up escaping Russia or defect Russia. Anything to try to help you get a hold on some brains.

Romney don't want anyone to go after him concerning his religion, but didn't Romney say that President Obama is responsible for twenty five million people being out of work. Now I don't know about Romney's religion, but lying is a sin in most people religion. Because he just flat out and out lied. But it's not Romney's first time.
The "Mittiot" showed his true colors and exemplified what is happening to all of us in this country.
