The Dow Jones industrial average plunged, closing down 512 points. It’s the Dow's worst drop since October 2008 and its ninth-steepest decline ever. Worries over the U.S. economy sent stocks into this nosedive.
It's not all doom and gloom. Gas prices are down, so now's the time to fill up your tank. That's kinda positive...

Anybody hear about the markets? I warned them all. Obama should have stuck to the plan and passed a CLEAN bill. But he didn't. Tea bagging republicans got there way and look what happened. They collapsed the economy again. INSANE these hillbilly's are. Trying to repeat the same tasks expecting different outcomes. The definition of insanity. Yet there they are all tarded and what not. Then they did it again which makes them RE tarded. What will they be described as when they are allowed to do it once more again? Hmmm.
Still waiting for my apology you tax dollar handout using vacation taking boobs. In fact does anyone think good ol private sector rich folks will make it all better and bail us out? Huh.. The Americans for Prosperity aka: Koch brothers, have spent 600 million dollars in Wisconsin's recall elections. How many jobs would that have created. The rich have absolutely no intention of creating any jobs.
I hear you. It would seem "private citizens" as it were are more interested in buying politicians then creating jobs. Why? Its like Rome in its decline. What is more is that tea bagging republicans continue to be oblivious to history so they repeat its insanity even from 10 short years ago refuse to be factual or understand them. And they have a deep seeded hatred for education. Go figure? ; ]
I will look into these Koch brothers. And that will not be good for them. If anyone in "power" really cared about creating jobs they would lower are export taxes and raise import taxes exponentially. Thereby keeping business here. Those on the outs of our shores already get the ultimatum. Re pledge your fiscal and loyalty alligence to us again or find somewhere else to live. There will be someone else to take your place.
Post Script. Its a touchy subject for most but here it is again. You know why all of the sudden America wants illegals out when they have been an excepted way of doing business for decades and is only a misdemeanor crime? Because the corporations HATE competition. In the housing bubbles ANY man was able to compete and grow large to meet head on BIG HUGE business. So they took it away. People love to cut of there nose to spite there foot. We could all be creating jobs and business everyday but because of all my afore mentioned points it doesn't happen. And we are meant to KISS the buttocks of the rich corporations who hate us and the president we all overwhelmingly had to vote in? He didnt sue to win I'll tell you that. ;]

i was also hoping that President Obama would pass a clean bill, i think it would have been better in the short and long term for the american people, but since a clean bill would have been a last minute action, everyone would have seen too much insane non-activity from the baggers and the republicans, too much bickering about not raising taxes. i don't know if a clean bill would have helped the markets at that point.

Well passing it clean is what the market's would have preferred. THEN you have a budget bill. Tea bagging republicans control the House and what gets voted when why and were you see. BUT the chose to use the debt ceiling as the leverage of their extortion. It did not have to be. So there clear intent was to harm America. They are getting back at all those who voted for Obama by hurting us all economically in there attempt to bring his presidency to an end. Just as Wall Street is getting back at us all for those actions by the Americans who walked away from there homes and debt.
They hate Americans voted Obama into office. The hold us responsible instead of excepting it and that we DONT want them anymore they decide to hurt us all. It is childish behavior and NEEDS to stop. But who will stop it? Certainly not the president. Instead he decides to bend over for them time and time again. I do not believe and I know that we didn't elect a republican to office yet here he is. And that is sad because he is smart enough to know that he should be standing up and not sitting down as he continues to do. He may not like confrontation but the right does and those of us who elected him by an overwhelming majority did so because we NEED someone to confront them so the right doesn't bring this country to its knees again. But he didn't. And they did. What is next? Maybe hes not the right guy for the job we elected him for as he seems to favor the those now who didn't vote for him at all. Sad really. Let us see what happens.
I know that if any of them were serious about jobs and balancing the budget they would hurt the folks to do it, they wouldn't punish the many for the few and they would get serious and DO something about are free trade import export business.
