Who knew Congressman Ron Paul and Lindsay Lohan see eye-to-eye? Yeah, that Lindsay Lohan. The troubled actress, who just finished up 35 days of house arrest today, celebrated her freedom by… discussing the Federal Reserve on Twitter. You would think it would be more along the lines of, "Hey, can’t wait to get a coffee after being trapped in my house for more than a month." Maybe it’s just me.
She tweeted, "Have you guys seen food and gas prices lately? U.S. $ will soon be worthless if the Fed keeps printing money!"
Turns out the group National Inflation Association sponsored the message. Celebs can make tons of cash with these endorsements.
The troubled starlet defended her tweet spam. She wrote, "I actually do care about gas and food prices, so whether it's an #ad or no, it's important for people to be aware of it."

Thank God that our little intellectual goddess is at the helm and monitoring the fed. I think she would be better suited to monitoring Stoli on the rocks however!

Every political party and group that is against the Fed, IRS, and Income Taxes, (e.g. Libertarians, Constitutionalist, etc.) need to unite into one strong third party to give both Dems and Repubs a good run for their MONEY.
MSNBC's shameless attempt to discredit the Ron Paul by linking his beliefs with Lynsey Lohan. Journalistic integrity comes in second place to political ideologyat this site. Why not link the sayings of Rosanne Barr to Obama? There just about as relevant.
the same organization that sponsored lindsay lohans "federal reserve" tweet, the NIA, LOVES to use GLENN BECK, PETER SCHIFF and RON PAUL to bolster their hyper-fearmongering agenda.
the point here is that the NIA is a conservative based, fear-mongering, hyper-inflationary REPUBLICAN organization that doesn't care about facts, and opposes the policies of President Obama, and the democrats.
like RON PAUL, PETER SCHIFF, and GLENN BECK, lindsay lohan is benefitting from her relationship with the NIA. the NIA must feel that like PAUL, SCHIFF, and BECK, that LOHAN will be beneficial to their organization in some way, with the 2012 election looming large.
The deficit was not 8 trillion when Bush left office, It was 10 trillion. How to fix this: 1. Eliminate the Department of Homeland security and the Department of Education; 2. Bring Home all US troops from Afghanistan and Iraq along with the subsidies we are pouring into the pockets of their public officials; 3. cut half of Foreign aid; 4. eliminate the Bush tax cuts; 5. Stop paying oil companies for oil exploration; 6. All current and retired Federal workers take a 5% pay cut; 7. Insurance reimbursement rates for all Federal workers set to Medicare levels.
Let me see we've gone through Obama to Bush to Clinton to Reagan,... keep at it folks and eventually you will hit the source of the problem: The creation of the Federal Reserve System in 1913, which every President since then has allowed to remain in existence.
I wonder why no-one ever blames Woodrow Wilson for the problem of the exponentially expanding US federal debt.?
