Perry will ABSOLUTELY run for President because he hopes that most American are as witless and gullible
as most Texans. Perry is a "smooth operator" who plays mindless Texas voters like a violin. (1) Perry attacks Pres. Obama's healthcare legislation for Individual insurance Mandates while Perry requires Individual mandates on ALL Texans who own Motor vehicles. (2) Perry tells Texans "We don't Need NO Stinking Federal government" while whining that the same "stinking" federal government did NOT give him enough money when his "wants to succeed from the union" state suffered wildfires. (3) Perry campaigned for re-election by telling Texans that Texas finances and budgets
were in a surplus w/o government help but just last month cut millions out of budget for schools and is laying off teachers all over the state saying that there was NOT enough money for education. Kind of makes us wonder, just how mindless are those Texas suckers for Perry?
Al The Texan,
1 - It's not a "mandate" to have auto insurance because no one is forcing anyone to drive a car (you don't have to have insurance just for owning a car)
2 - Perry tells Texans, "We don't need NO Stinking Federal Government"? Show you work. Links, please.
3 - Do you not realize that the economy can change? Again, show your work and post a few links to evidence that Perry was lieing.
4 - He won't run.
That is so funny, "you don't have to have insurance just for owning a car." No but you do to drive it silly boy otherwise why have the car. Also a guttbuster, " no one is forcing anyone to drive a car." & yet in wide open states like Texas that is the only way to really get around. Your statement that it is not a mandate sounds just like another statement that goes, "it depends on what your definition of is is."
Yes, it was not too long ago that Perry didn't want Texas to be a part of the "Union" of America.....he wanted to secede? Now he is thinking of running for the Presidency. He, can run for the President of Texas, he has wrecked their budget, and he and GW ruined the state. We don't need the religious, hypocrite's problems.
Bagger Rick can certainly jump in to the pub/bagger fray, heck the more the merrier! They all say essentially the same thing so I am not sure why the bagger electorate continues keep trying to scope for more prospects. Someone who advocates secession would not be my first choice for a national candidate for this union. But who am I to argue with their logic, they actually think Bauckman actually has a show balls chance in He** of winning.
I was talking to Nancy {Joanie her partner} about the debate {which we both watched}.. I told her I was taking back on what I was hearing.. Nazis/Moslem's... Something is so wrong here and what I am hearing.. Then finding out that Rick Perry the gov. from Texas "Prayer sponsor is Phelps { the guy who's family protest at all Prides/soilders funeral's and yes who protested against Matthew Sherpard and said he was going to hell and then said that Hilter could only recruit GAY"S to kill the Jew's.WILL YOU PLEASE WAKE UP !!! I am not a Dem. nor Rep.. I just won't the right person in to run our country.. However the Tea Party Right/ Wing Nuts or whatever you call them are out there. Look at each state were they have been elected.. what are they doing... taking womens rights away/.unions rights and guess what.... what ever rights you think you have will be taken away too !!!. So "YOU" really need to take a stand. Are will we become another Germany under a Hilter !! Joanie
Agreed New GOP ran on jobs but did NADA for jobs, just stalled, blocked, filibustered. NOw that they won Its all about Corp cuts, cuts cuts and OIL subsides, giant tax loopholes while cutting our kids education, school lunches, Pell Grants, head start , seniors who spent all and went on medicaid for nursing home care. GOP priorities are greedy and immoral Corps over people NO WAY

Maybe We Need to Take a Different Road
Approaching the one-year anniversary of his ill-fated "Recovery Summer" (June 17th), President Obama is spending this summer trying to convince the American people that 28 consecutive months of unemployment above 8 percent is just a "bump on the road to recovery." But American families realize that the so-called "bump" is actually a mountain of constraint put in place by failed Democrat policies and empty promises.
In 2009, the Obama administration promised that if the Democrats borrowed $1.16 trillion to "stimulate" the economy, the unemployment rate would not exceed 8 percent. Democrats then promised that the government takeover of healthcare would create 4 million jobs—400,000 jobs "almost immediately." Democrats even promised that "welfare" checks were a surefire way to juice the economy.
It does not take heavy econometric analysis to determine the net effect of these policies—they have failed. Economic growth was recently reported at an anemic rate of 1.8 percent for the first quarter. The unemployment rate stands at 9.1 percent, the highest level since December 2010. The government takeover of health care is proving to be an unpopular job-destroyer. And there are approximately 45 million Americans receiving food stamps. In fact, there is no stronger indictment of "Obamanomics" than the millions of Americans still out of work or struggling to make ends meet two years into the current recovery.
The mentality of Nazi Germany is quite similar to the Baggers. They leave no room of compromise, like the Nazi. They believe that their way is the only way , like the Nazi. They what you to believe exactly as they believe, like the Nazi. They ascribe a scapegoat for all their ills, like the Nazi. They enact laws which will further these goals and impose them upon everyone like the Nazi. They develop a media machine to brainwash the masses like the Nazi The question is will those of us who can objectively observe this process submit to their dictatorship and indoctrination or will be stand against it.
Perry looks and talks like Bush Same smirk, same phony Evangelical talk. Perry alluded to being a ' prophet ' Danger ahead We have we heard that kind of talk before. NO more arrogant TX Governors New GOP Gov's NJ Gov Chrisite - Wis Walker Fla Gov Scott , Mass Romney all are not liked in their home states where they are known best . Pawlenty has NO guts. Debate 7 all kow towed to Mitt, must be looking for the VP spot. Bachman & her pals all said Gut the EPA , cut education , give more & more corp tax cuts & tax loopholes. Those Reaganomics Bush 1-2 Cheney -Goldman Feds fat cat policies led us to Bush /GOP 2008 global crash / TARP / depression . GOP has NO ideas, NO solutions Just same old tired policies of last 30 yrs since 1981 Reagan deregulation. THAT FAILED MISERABLY
Think Rick Perry will DEBATE? By the way-I wish those FAKE Conservatives would stop praying for rain in AZ & Texas, God wants to hear from REAL Christians praying, but GOP is clogging up the lines.
Yep, America will see some Real Good Ole' Boys Flags and All that go with it! GOP have nothing but Radicals that is all the GOP have to offer America Which Presidential candidate is more Radical than the other against President Obama! Not one of them could get anything done, without Congress and the GOP love to filibuster and obstruct any progress-for politics! So, if you have a 60/100 vote rule to pass some work, GOP vote NAY that is 47 votes against America and YEA to Wealthy and Big For Profit Corporations by EXTORTION,REALLY? Trust the GOP, really? If only Democratic Leadership had the SPINE! WOW!
Headed higher?
At a recent 12.7, the misery index is at its highest level since 1983, when Ronald Reagan was president and the great bull markets in stocks and bonds were in their infancy. Yet as always, it's worth recalling that things can be (and have been) worse.
The 1983 peak was 14.1, which looks terrifyingly high now but at the time was the lowest reading in five years.
This is worth bearing in mind for those who drone on endlessly about "jobless stagflation." Yes, 9.1% joblessness and 3.6% inflation are both bad news. But hey, when Reagan beat Jimmy Carter in the November 1980 election, unemployment was 7.5% and inflation was, um, 12.7%, for a nifty misery score above 20.
That, fortunately, was the last time we reached that exalted level. It is certainly a stretch to say today's policymakers are nailing it, but it's equally hard to believe anyone can look at the data from the 1970s and claim what we have now is stagflation
we are sick and tired of hearing about ronald reagan, who wouldn't even recognize the republicans today or the tea party as viable candidates.
you all have an exalted view of reagan, and talk about him the way you WISH he were. he raised taxes many times to soften the deficit that occured during his administration. but he did leave a deficit, nothing like was left like W. bush, of course.
when reagan left office, the social security trust fund had a surplus, which also softened the deficit when he left office. the republicans love to say that the social security trust fund doesn't really exist, but they have used the money to subsidize defict spending. the money that the gov't has borrowed from the social security trust fund should be repayed to those who had it taken from their checks for years. but if the republicans have their way, the program will be cut or changed, just like they want to do to medicare.
the current deficit problems began with george W. bush, about a decade ago, beginning with his un-paid tax cuts, and the un-paid wars in iraq and afghanistan that continue to this day, unfortunately.
bush is responsible for billions of debt in regard to his programs, billions in regard to the recession that occured on bush's watch, billions in regard to the bailouts he instigated, and billions in regard to wars he initiated and now that obama agrees with, or can't back out of.
President Obama is not the socialist spender you all make him out to be. most of what was spent was trying to keep bush's Great Recession from becoming a depression.
republicans are the ones who have a problem with balancing the budget, even though they present themselves as deficit hawks. they are fiscally conservative, but this means balancing the budget by taking from those who can least afford it. taking from the poor, but leaving more than enough for themselves and their rich contributers. leaving others to do without, but not themselves. raising taxes on the middle class, but not the rich. judging everyone else, but they get off scott-free.
once again, the republican party; do as i say, not as i do.
I find the Perry contact with Bryan Fischer quite interesting. Fischer is a deceitful nut who imbues a bunch of uneducated folks falsely that Hitler's killers were homosexuals. Nothing could be further from the truth. Ernest Roehm was co-founder of the SA, a working mans outfit, 1922, was a covert homosexual and later on was executed by Hitler when the more elite SS was founded. In "The Nazi Doctors" Dr. Robert Jay Lifton discusses the extermination of the homosexuals, early in the Nazi genocide, as a step in improving the race. This was part of the 'final solution' discussed in the publication"The Permission to Destroy Life Unworthy of Life", 1920, by jurist Karl Binding and Alfred Hoche. This should be pointed out by Lawrence O'Donnell on some later program. An extensive history re Roehm appears in Shirer's "Rise and Fall of The Third Reich".
What America is about to see out of Rick Perry is Damien Thorn~ The Omen~ Final Conflict. Wanna see white hate groups and we are talking about radicals-Why are they not on the terr&or list? The GOP don't represent America or her values. Rights-What rights, GOP are now even through the darkness they keep hurting the American citizens elderly & low income and less fortunate-all those Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindu's, Buddhists, and all other major religions ALL agree to caring for the elderly and less fortunate and having community programs that are effective for their specific needs in the community. Rick Perry is leaving Texas in a -$11 Billion Deficit after making the public suffer by cutting $16 Billion for Public services out of a -$27 BILLION Deficit he kept making worse since inheriting the "W" Bush Texas Deficit- RCINO~ Republican Conservative In Name ONLY! Rick Perry & the GOP Party! Obama 2012
Congregation, let us ask: What is Perry's Prophet Motive?
and prophet margin . . .
Someone please explain the concept of prayer for me . . .It seems quite hilarious that adults really think they have the magical power of mental telepathy and can send secret messages to an invisible, omniscient creature living in another dimension outside space and time and get that creature to do their bidding and alter the universe based on their personal requests.
Why do people think their god requires a reminder or request via prayer?
Doesn't omniscience negate such nonsense?
Wait till America gets a whiff of some Rick Perry- Remember-The Omen-Final Conflict-Damien Thorn as the Anti-Christ? Get a load of Perry-Wanna see White hate Groups wait till Perry comes around!
Like "W" Bush did to him (Rick Perry) will pass on that RCINO tradition of pass on a DEFICIT! Just think what "W" did to Texas & the Nation, now look at WHAT Rick Perry has done to Texas -$27 Billion hole- Oh, after smoke & mirrors and $16 Billion out of the Public Sector, Rick Perry leaves a RCINO DEFICIT of -$11 BILLION and failing economy and unemployed, uninsured, poverty, and etc...
There are plenty of GOP voters on here that call themselves what is it?..."Conservative" What is that? And if you keep voting for the SAME exact people that create DEFICITS (something "conservatives" claim they dislike) then what does that make YOU as a Republican voter? Hypocrites?
Someone needs to remind Whites in America that A- the country doesn't belong to them B- they didn't put the foundation of this country together, they used free labor to build America and the descendants of those they used and murdered still live in this country, C- that they need to stop being delusional about being supreme above other races, D-they need to realize that there are Hispanics, Natives, Blacks, Gays, women in this country and their votes matter too. Lastly, a reminder, Jesus Christ was not WHITE. He was a brown man and he would be appalled at hatred you have for others simply over skin color
EXACTLY!!! :-)
I'm a white, woman, Democrat, IR, and you are so D...
rightcorrect.Getting sick of hearing about these governors who are not running. Note to establishment Republicans: They don't want to run! Not Daniels, not Christie, not this guy, not Kasich. They don't even want to run after being begged by Roger Ailes and Rush Limbaugh! Even when offered help and money from the Koch brothers, the Bush family and Karl Rove they don't want to do it. Probably because they know they will lose. Sorry, tough luck, seems like you're stuck with Romney, or worse.
