In a new YouTube video posted today, Donald Trump explained in greater detail why he finally bailed on his presidential publicity stunt. Money.
"I said 'you know what? It’s time to take the money,'" said Trump, referring to NBC's offer to keep The Apprentice on-air. "By the way, even when you’re rich, it’s a lot of money," he said. "Who gives up a hit show? Nobody."
But, you probably already knew that from Lawrence who’s been saying it all along.
He also took a few digs at the GOP’s “stupidity,” specially calling out House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Rep. Paul Ryan for their pushes to overhaul Medicare and the budget.
"I really hated what I was seeing from the Republicans," he said. "If the wrong person is nominated, you watch what happens with Donald Trump and what he does.”
We can tell you right now, it’s not going involve a run for the White House unless it involves a TV deal.

For the first time in years Donald Trump has actually said something that makes sense. Everything he said about the stupidity of the Republicans is right on the money!
The truth is, if NBC offered Donald Trump 50 cents more, he would have taken it. Donald Trump will never run for president because he does not want the scrutiny. Donald Trump does not want America or his competitors to know everything about him, his family, his divorces, his bankruptcies or his taxes. That is the true reason Donald Trump will never run for president.
What Donald Trump should be doing is apologizing for his racist tirades regarding the President of the United State's birth certificate. He should be apologizing to the President and the country for the completely racist and downright sad attempt to race-bait U.S. politics in 2011.
Donald Trump only cares about 3 things. He doesn't care about anyone or anything, aside from these 3 things:
There is some indication that he cares a tiny bit about his children and about making himself look good, so I guess you could add them to the list.
And then, of course, there is his hair. There are some who believe that he cares a great deal about his hair. I, on the other hand, disagree. Frankly, I believe he doesn't care all that much about his hair, because, if he did, he would have cut it all off a long time ago. No one who truly cares about their hair walks around with that mess on their head. It's simply not done.
Once again, Donald Trump will never, ever run for president. Period. Donald Trump cannot stand or afford the scrutiny.

Newly naturalized citizens, military inductees, and publicly elected officials pledge loyalty to the U.S. Constitution and are expected to defend it from enemies foreign and domestic. So what is the U.S. Constitution? Despite most citizens’ belief, the Constitution sets down our Government framework with the three branches of government and their duties which was promptly rejected by our Revolutionary ancestors. Only after the First Amendment was included did we ratify arguably the first citizen controlled form of government in modern times. This radical human evolution stems from our ancient need for individuals to form a tribe for better survival benefits. More people wish to join our ‘tribe’ due to our unique (and fantastically successful) social model, but also by bringing talent has allowed us all to take pride in this nation, The United States of America—most call this pride Patriotism—felt by existing ‘tribesmen’ as well as new comers (each naturalization ceremony reeks of this pride), and willing to give life or limb to defend it.
Does pledging loyalty to a political party allow loyalty to two philosophies? When an individual elected politician pledges loyalty to themselves and their bank account, does this warrant a title as ‘domestic enemy’? Although every public official claims (and swears) Constitution loyalty, often they are caught lying by not “doing the Peoples work” instead doing the lobbyist work or pledge to a religious philosophy that directly contravenes our Constitution. The Supreme Court is one Government branch—ratified by us citizens—that was created as another check and balance in our society to ultimately decide contentious issues as abortion. Cases such as Roe vs. Wade were decided by the Supreme Court, but recent Republican controlled local legislatures constantly attack this decision that is sanctioned by our Constitution. Not only is this difficult social issue as aborting human fetus under attack, but our very Government framework is under attack from such sound-bites as, “succession from the Union,” “hand control back to the States” “take back our country” “America is a not a Democracy, it is a Republic” “second Amendment remedies” etc. not to mention Republican and Tea Party attempts to pervert the legislative and election process in many State governments. Are these attacks from what could be classified as domestic enemies disguised as ‘We the People’ patriots? Is Obama our elected President? Does our Constitution still work? Only voting results from 2012 elections will tell. Do you miss George W Bush yet? MSNBC Rachel’s Bush Watch should return because not all his damage has been repaired yet.

Oherwise, why would he allow a TV show to determine his decision to run for president? I thought he was wealthier than that; that he could buy and sell tv programs.

The Duck needs the money and the exposure for his ego this show provides. Rumor has it he's heavily leveraged and not worth anywhere near what he would like us to believe.
Trump is still Obuma's worst nightmare. He is such a genius for not declaring his candidacy right now to keep the lame stream liberal media off his back. But he's gonna continue to make a lot of noise, criticize the prez, talk a lot about the economy and by next year, comes in as an independent and win the election. Just beautiful. That's what I call the "ART OF THE DEAL" !!!
