While in Philadelphia yesterday, Piper Palin shoved a reporter out of the way and told TIME correspondent Jay Newton-Small and photographer Dima Gavrysh, "Thanks for ruining our family vacation."
It is completely wrong when parents trick their children to believe they're going somewhere when they're actually headed somewhere else. I mean for me, it was my mom saying, "Ron, we're going to the mall." She knew I hated going shopping with her and I would cry and pout and eventually get in the car, but once we pulled into the movie theatre parking lot, I knew she was fooling me the whole time! (Hi, Mom.)
For little 10-year-old Piper, her mom probably told her she was going on a family vacation. No tricks there, right? Nah, just a family vacation to see historic America, visit Uncle D, and crash Romney's announcement party.
Was Piper Palin duped to believe this was a family vacation with no ulterior motives? I'll let you decide.

I don't know any one who cares about her. Every one I know/talk to think she is a medi phenom and have reached a point that they change the station when a piece about her comes on. Has the press so desperate that they feel the need to comment on Donald Trumps plastic utensils and this one's book tour. Hardball goes on and on and on about her. Bob, I totally agree with you. I change the channelo or mute the sound when her or Trump is talking. I get tired of the reporters tryinng to record every thing she says. If they are waiiting for her to say somthing intellegent, they might be waitinng a very long time.

Oh my, using PAC funds for private purposes is illegal! Also, in my childhood if I shoved ANY adult I wouldn't be able to sit for a week! Perhaps that horrid child has been taught that unless someone has something you want (money, a vote) then they are no more than common animals and may be treated as such.

Well, I declare, Sarah's children are just going to have to get used to be used! I mean, how are they ever going to make a living if they can't be in the public eye? Obviously education means nothing, and no one seems to be around to actual PARENT these kids, so they had better be able to prance around at affairs and be nice to newspeople if they intend to get along in Sarah's world.
Oh man! No offense however I looked at her child realized she looks a little like the girl in the movie "Orphan". If she were to start singing "The Glory of Love" people better keep their distance.
I have watched this little Piper child on the Palin's reality show and DWTS and now this latest flap with her. Personally, I think she is a spoiled brat that is in much need of some parental intervention. I couldn't believe the way she talked back to her mother on the reality show. Perhaps that's why all the kids are dysfunctional in this family. Perhaps dear Sarah should step back from her 15 mins. of fame and take some time out to raise her children properly. BTW, who the heck is taking care of her toddler?
To Clarify, no little Piper was not on DWTS - her sister Bristol (you know how the lamestream media wouldn't let this child have any privacy -- give me a break!!) but was in the audience with her parents watching Bristol perform. Camera crews followed Piper and mom hiking about in LA also had a smart alec response to questions. Again, she is a spoiled brat and instead of Sarah dragging her all around the lower 48 states with her -- why isn't this kid in school and engaging with kids/school kids her age?
Why don't she just go away. She is a joke. Ii have a rock in my front yard that is smarter than she is. At least it just sits there and looks stupid. That is more than I can say for her!
We can all thank John McCain for Palin. I bet even he is sorry that he had picked her for his V.P. If he had just picked someone else, (ANYONE) i think we all would be much happier.

Piper looks like a kid near the end of her rope. Yes, her behavior was inappropriate, and awful, but her mother not only didn't notice, she seemed oblivious even to her daughter's being there.
I don't know if Piper was told to run interference for her mom (a 10 yr old?) or if she's just trying to remind mom that she exists. Piper is a 10 yr old kid, and if her mother is half as concerned about her child's welfare as she has claimed in the past, then Piper wouldn't be in that spot in the first place.
